I have a big problem on this website , because when I post , I saw that my post is deleted , because somebody post a wrong question and I lost that answer too , and I lost money.I think that will be more better if the bad questions will be mark with red circle and the good questions to be with green circle, this will be a good feature , because you will don't post on bad questions, and you will not lost your answer.

Hi granny Well same goes here with me when i was new but now i hardly take part in those discussion which violates the guidelines now you might have those question header emailed to you, see those and keep in mind when some one post a similar discussion topic to stay away from those so that your work here don't get deleted avoiding them is a good way but when some mylotter is having no clue about mylot i always take part in those discussion even if i know that they are going to be deleted by the admin And about those flag, the admin deleted a discussion only when he is aware of it you can report a discussion which violate the TOS or you see some one spamming here this would also help other mylotter and yourself too

granny you need to read the tags left on each discussion before deciding to respond as a lot of us will put these tags broke mylot discussion rule or guideline violation and when y ou see these read the discussion and think aboutthe mylot information on rules of discussion; if you read and learned t hese rules you will see for yourself the ones that are breaking rules. heed the tags as I often warn people to be careful as this is breaking a mylot rule in t his discussion.

Yeah. I think the bad discussions need to have a red flag in it or something. I hate responding to them and have them deleted also.

stephcjh no we allneed to break down and read the guidelines as thats what they are there for to guide us, know the rules of discussions the dos a nd the donts then no need to have some one put circles of any sort on any discussions at all as what good would that do since once admins s ees them they will be deleted. we need to know the rules and for that we need to read the information. whats so doggoned hard about reading the guidelines and how to make discussions and the rules of discussions the dos and donts. if we can read others discussions we can surely we can read the information that will help us not t o break the rules. So this is up to each of us to go read the discussion dos and don'ts instead.be informed in the first place.then when you see a discussion you will know which are rule breakers and you will avoid them. you do not need red flags you need to use common sense as the rules are there for you to read so read the blasted rules.

As the other responses have said, it is up to each one of us to be aware of the Guidelines so that we can know where and where not to post. If a dicussion is a 'bad' one then it is deleted once admin is aware of it. Until then we can avoid it and report it too. There is not point in leaving 'bad' discussions up at all. What purpose whould that serve?

I've had that happen to me a few times. Now I am starting to know how to better spot out those kinds of disscusions. Other than spotting out them by remembering the guidelines there's really not much else to be done. Mylot deletes them for a reason no need for them to get marked in any way if they will be deleted. Just be more careful to where you reply.

If we would just all read the guidelines, rules, and TOS we would never have to worry about it. Well, ok sometimeswe get thrown a loop and get one without thinking anything is wrong but the majority of them we should catch. It's just all about being on the look out when you prepare to write something.

You just have to get used to the system. After a while you can spot the delete-ables and avoid most of them. Still, you will always get caught with a few surprise ones. That's life!

Yes it can be disheartening to have discussions deleted but after being here for quite some time usually I can tell which are guideline violations. Many times I intentionally and knowingly do post to them to advise the discussion starter so that they understand that the discussion type usually gets deleted. By doing so I know very well I won't be earning but I prefer to help because this way the more members understand the guidelines the more long term members we will have. I did not see your discussions so not sure which they were. What helped me when I was new is that I would open the email alert and the guidelines in another tab so that I could make sense in my mind of what to try and avoid in the future. Thus far I rarely have to go to the guidelines as I have practically memorized them. lol Carry on and have fun and it does get easier.

ya its a problem, which i have faced earlier. now i understand that the particular question will be deleted after reading it. so i will not answer it. but as you pointed the things, it would be nice if the question is marked with some color to indicate its bad question.

Oh i didnt taught of that... well youre right, a red flag or something like "report as abuse" should exist

At the bottom of every post there is the (!) report abuse icon. We can, and should, use it to report anything that violates the Guidelines (which I hope you have already seen). Once reported, admin then sees the report and decides whether to delete or leave it standing.
