Just curious: do you guys receive friend requests here in myLot on a daily basis? If so, in an estimate or average, how many friend request do you get daily?
As for me, I usually have one daily. And I am happy with that. At least someone notices me here and cares to have me added on their list. Unlike in Facebook, my friend requests are rarer than summer rain!

Hello Dear Ms Patricia! I am happy to know that you are getting one friend request on an average! That is very good. I don't get many friendship requests as many a times I am busy in discussing the issues which are normally initiated by old members , to ensure that these discussions will not get deleted in future Normally the discussions initiated by the newbies are having chances of getting deleted for they don't have idea about the type of discussions which can be get deleted on this site or they often post the discussions which are already there in the forum, i.e duplicate postings. In fact you can get new friends if you are interacting with them. This is the reason now a days I hardly get any new friend request!
As a word of caution, let me make you alert to keep a watch on the friends who have got no discussions or responses against their user name. That is they have their score as '0' or very low ! These type of members want to become friends with many members on the site without actually participating on the forum and their motto is spamming, thy want to promote their sites and want us to include us as their referrals. So I normally delete such member's friend request!
Well with the experience you will come to know about such members and you will start rejecting such requests! Thanks for the discussion!

Was that a recent one? I feel like we have been in touch for so many years...LOL!
Well dear Ms Diana, How can I forget the friends like you. In fact many a times, now a days I post some discussions and responses which may create some ripples, with a confidence that you are there to save me! Ha Ha Ha...!
I am proud to have you as my friend like many more on this forum!

Umph!
You did get one friend request recently, or have ou alresdy forgotten
I must put a word in for those users with (0) who send requests. Not all of them want to spam. Some are very active members but NOT on the dicussions. They use the search and complete tasks and therefore will always be at (0) but often make payout regularly. I have several of them on my list but they have never ever sent one single link

I do not recieve friend requests every day on Mylot. I average one a week. I never expected to get alot og friend requests. Sometimes I am very picky who will be on my friend list. I have like 45 friends on Mylot. That is fine with me!

Oh. But I guess when someone invites you to be their friend, you accept it anyway?

Yes I am loosing track as to how many a day. I am always happy to get them but often times wonder why if we have never interacted why friend. I say this often to many new members, to please take their time in requesting friends.
Reason is that if we are not with the same interests then they will not get responses and feel ignored. So it is always advisable to interact with members to see what styles and interests are like.

It's ok with me if they add me then reply or comment in my posts or be active here in MyLot. It is not appealing when they add you then be on a hiatus!

Before I receive friends requests in daily basis when I was still active as in very active in mylot. But since we cut down out Internet and rarely come to mylot now. Only few people who are requesting for friends request. So i do it in another way. I do the one who requests from them.

I guess some of our fellow mylotters tend to choose active mylotters as their friends rather than the recent ones. But anyway, at least it's good to know that you're doing the deed now. You make someone smile with each request sent.

I have had several friend requests but I do not get them on a daily basis. I check out the person before accepting. I suggest that you check out the friend before accepting. There are a lot of persons out there in cyber space with bad intentions. I love mylot but do not have a lot of time to give to it. And that includes friends on mylot.

Oh my, i do not check. I just press the "accept" button upon seeing the request. I hope no one would make a fool of my account after I accepted their request. I'm scared now :(

There are a lot of persons in cyber space with bad intentions. They friend people for very bad reasons such as to steal their identity, etc. One needs to be careful and cautious at all times. I always check out persons who send friend requests if I do not know them personally.

I've been here for a long time and I've never received daily friend requests. I might get 3 a month, maybe. I accept if the person is familiar, having responded or commented in a discussion with me, or if I feel we may have some things in common after checking their profile.
I have only been spammed with referral links once, a long time ago. Another time, a member sent me a link soon after friending me but I did not consider it spam as she was very considerate and courteous about it.
I am not interested in FB but do have an account there and I pretty well ignore everything - I don't think I've had a friend request there for ages..

I receive several requests daily, often from new users who see me offering advice on their topics and add me so that they can ask more in PMs. I am happy to accept them and answer any questions that they have concerning myLot and how to use it, so that, hopefully, they can enjoy it here and get the best out of the time that they spend here like many of us do

The new users snob those!
They understand their worth about 2 years after joining

It's good to know you have friend request here on a daily basis, you may be a friendly mylotter for many are adding you on their list of friends. As for me, I don't get requests here nor on my facebook account on a daily basis. I am not really miss popular offline and I am also not anymore that active here. I only respond mostly to my friends posts for they are the discussions that I received on my email. Sometimes I can respond to those new posts only when I am online so I rarely get to know more people here. Even though I would really want to gain friends here as much as possible but due to the busy schedule, there is no time for me to be known by others here.

I don't.
I am not so particular in this matter too.
As long as I have sufficient friends whose discussions and responses are my interests, I shall be satisfied to maintain this network for mylot.
If I have too many friends whom I am not interested in most of the topics of their discussions, then they are troubling me when I keep on receiving those unwanted notifications in their new discussions or responses in mylot.
However, I shall accept the invitation as a polite manner to other members of mylot.

Seems like you're much more social than I am. I don't receive any daily request at all, maybe one per week as an average to give you some numbers. I generally accept them all and have been rarely spammed by anyone, but the few times it happened to me I simply deleted them. I'm happy too to have some friends here, although I'm not too social with them and would much like more interaction too, but it's nice to follow some discussions.

I don't usually receive them daily, but there always is one in a week.
Apart from seeing my earnings, I get so excited whenever I see a new friend request.
It means somehow I have spurred an interest in them, maybe from a discussion that we both have participated in. I always accept them. I rarely am spammed, maybe on 2 occasions only. I hope the spammers wouldn't read this and starting sending our friend requests.

It depends on how many you friends have. If you have more friends, you will get more request daily.
