For about a week or so I've noticed how I can't really feel anything on my left side. It goes from my temple to the bottom of my ear. There's slight ringing but no pain or anything. If I scratch my ear or pinch it, I can't really feel anything....somebody help, what could be the cause of this?

I hope by now you have been to a Doctor and had this looked at, and had a test or two done to help find out what is going on. This is definately not something normal and something to worry about. Not having any feeling like this could be a cause of something big, or maybe just a pinched nerve, but you never know if you do not get it looked at. Hope you're feeling a little better.

It sucks but I have not yet been to the Dr for it. The Dr that im currently seeing is always booked up so its hard to get an appt with him. It is very irritating having to wait weeks just to see him. I am going to continue to contact the office to see if someone has cancelled and get in a bit sooner. Thank you so much for your concern and will definitely update when I know something

I can not exactly give you an accurate answer. But I recommend that you visit a medical doctor who will examine you and then prescribe the appropriate medication for the ailment. You may be sent to the laboratory for some test if the doctor feel it is okay to do that. So take the first step by visiting a doctor.

I strongly suggest you have it checked by a doctor right away. Only a doctor can say what that is actually. Please don't wait any longer and ask someone to accompany you to the doctor. Take care.

Numbness in the face is a real symptom to be worried of. It may mean a lack of Vitamin B complex due to the fact that Vitamin B helps our nerves or to a more serious case such as mild strokes. You may also be applying something in your face that alters the nerves on a particular region.
I would suggest that the best thing to do is go to a doctor. Don't drive, ask someone to accompany you, because it may effect your eye sight or your coordination.
The best thing to do whenever a the body is experiencing any alterations from normal is to have it checked out rather than just ignoring the problem.

I mainly notice it when im sitting up. Maybe its because when I sit up my spine is compressed on a nerve, I already have nerve damage in my neck and other parts of my body go numb but only after a while. Like i'll lose circulation in my arm or my knees will get numb. This whole nerve thing is crazy but Thank you
