Hello Lotters,
Oh, yeah i forgot, there's no typhoon recently and now it's hot again. this afternoon is the first time i slept or taken a nap since the start of my exercise. i thought it's going to be quick one but i kept forcing myself to wake up since i only had a five hour sleep last night!
but i had waken also because it was really HOT and i can't imagine it's june already when it's supposed to be rainy season. though i don't want a typhoon coming in our wake but come on we can't keep having this very very hot weather. well, i don't mind sweating just not drying from that sweat, that's where the sickness starts.
Have a nice day...

Hey, Letran....did you notice that you are ranked #1 in this interest? You must have been ranting a lot, huh?
Anyway, on to your topic. It's getting hot in the mid portion of the US too. We're into the 90° range this week. But I do have an air conditioner which is a big help. However whenever it gets up into the upper 90°'s or 100°'s, I have to run a fan to circulate the cool air coming from the back room where the AC is located. Do you not have an air conditioner?

Hello Yoyo,,
I am aware but i am not sure what to say, you think i should get an award for it?. Air conditioner is a really big help for people who couldn't stand the heat. I am really happy that i get to hang out in one of our renters, which is the video city thing.no, we don't because there's trouble with regards to the bills.have a nice day

LOL @ "you are ranked #1 in this interest? You must have been ranting a lot" Maybe it is not that he is ranting a lot but rather that he is just so darn good at it when he does it that he can't help but be ranked #1?
As for the air conditioners, we have the same problem. Ours (we have two) are old and do not work all that well to begin with, and we need to run the fans as well to circulate the air in order to feel the coolness at all. It helps more when we put them in the same room, but then the rest of the house is stifling. If we put them in separate but adjoining rooms that are more open (not many walls), then it does not get as cool but it will bring the entire house (well, most of it at least) down a couple of degrees, which is better than nothing.

We are also experiencing hell on earth here. The heat outside is unbearable like being baked in hot oven. Going out during the day will not do justice to our natural brown/dark asian skin and many people prefer to stay indoors to avoid getting burned by the unmerciful sun rays. Hopefully the weather is going to be kind to us and send rain to neutralize the heat that is not too kind to us at this time of the year.

Today is a beautiful day, and I should be outside enjoying it rather than sitting in front of this darn computer all day. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same, and then really bad weather on Wednesday and Thursday. I really do not like the severe weather, especially when it is so hot and humid and the power goes out. That is what happened a couple of weeks ago, and the power was out for about twelve hours ... not only were we worried about the storms and uncomfortable from the heat but also we were concerned about the food in the refrigerator and freezer going bad, especially since it was so hot and we were without power for so long. Fortunately everything turned out fine, but I hope it does not get that bad this week as well.

Hello purplebaster,
That's why i didn't use the computer for the Whole day because of the things that i have to do and assisting those people. I hate severe weather, most specially if it's summer in a very long term. it's seven in the morning and the sun is like heating me up already. i hate brown outs too.have a nice day

If I understand it correctly (I believe one of my friends explained this to me a while back), in your area they schedule blackouts and let you know about them ahead of time if they think that there will be too much power being used due to the heat. When they schedule the blackouts, then it helps everybody to prepare and it only lasts a specified period of time, which also helps to reduce the amount of brownouts. Is that correct?

Yeah, this weekend was cold, especially compared to the weather that we have had for the last few weeks. It is nice now and supposed to be nice tomorrow - warm but not too hot and humid with only an occasional storm here and there. Then on Wednesday and Thursday it is supposed to be back to the hot, humid and oppressive weather with the severe storms that we had a few weeks back.

The weather here is so unseasonably crazy, as it is so humid today.

I know what you mean!!! I can stand the heat but the low humidity I can't, it makes me sweat all the time!!!
It gets better at night right? No!!! Night times are still a bit hot!!! I can't stand it too, but it's better than having any typhoon...still a bit of rain would be nice, right?

Hello marapplestiffy,
I hate getting sweat that i had to change clothes constantly after few hours. even with my electric fan i still get to sweat for some reason. only at night where i get the chance to cool off i think. well, i don't mind raining but as long as there is no brown out or block out or some trees falling due to strong winds.

It is definitely the humidity (high humidity) that makes us feel all sticky and like it is difficult to breath. I mean, after a certain temperature we will still get all hot, sweaty and sticky no matter what, and it can cause heat stroke and other health risks, but at a lower temperature the high humidity can really cause a lot of serious health risks for children, the elderly and people with breathing problems.

You have nothing to do with the weather. The only thing we do as human is to accept what weather will give us. Try to ask God for a bit of rain when its hot. God has the one who take care of the world and universe. You don't know, in the middle of hottest weather suddenly the rain pour out in your place. :)

Hello rhejans,
Yeah, i guess i should be more tolerant and less compliant these days. i should practice time management and fast acting stuff these days. well, if it's going to rain i wanted to make sure that i won't get wet because that would really make me mad. I only hope that it's metaphor you're saying and not the weather, if rain comes it does come hot after wards too

It is really hot these past few days! And even if theres a little drizzle that lasts for thirty minutes, it's still humid (we have partial rainshowers here in Bulacan). The weather is really irritating me.

Hello MsPatricia,
Yeah, i don't know why this thing happens all the time. I get irritated when ever i get sweat and it's not something that i want, most specially today that i didn't even exercise. there should be a regular rains here or at least the clouds should cover the sun or something.
