Make yourself busy is a better way to forget those pain you have than thinking of something that makes you want to revenge in whatever way that you know can give negative outcome to both of your partner. Sometimes even how you make your self busy. You still can forget of what that person have done to you. I don't know how to make my mind clear and make myself free of thoughts about that person. Its really hurting me so much T_T. Did you feel the same way? Let me know how you handle this? I can't help myself.. T_T

Yes I believe that being busy is the best way to forget a little bit of pain we have in mind. But if we are terrible in pain it is really hard to move even we are busy and this is the part that i hate while working. Many times happened to me this pain coz if i got in love i fully gave of almost a hundred percent and almost nothing left to me. That is why when break up comes it hurts me so much. I hate this feelings. So every time i am in this situation i 'll make myself super busy. And this is one way to forget.

I'm glad that there is someone somehow have the same feelings and sitution that i have right now. Thanks for your advise my friend. This is my first time to experience this kind of situation in my life and the only thing that i know for me to forget this pain is to make myself very busy busy busy so busy. I really hate this feeling too. T_T huhuhuhuhu Now i realize if you are ready to love then let your self be ready too to get hurt. T_T so sad that life is like this.. T_T

Hi Rhejans, I'm sorry that you are going through this. I think the best way to hand a problem with a partner is to deal with it head-on and with open, honest communication. Sometimes though, if you are hurt and angry, you need some time before you can get to the point where you are even able to talk to the person effectivly. In those cases, you need to avoid that person as much as possible. I really think that sometimes going off alone and sitting with it....cry...think ....cry some more...helps. Stay away from the person until you are in a place where you can talk it over. I'm sorry you are going through a difficult time of things.

An empty mind is devil's workshop, so goes the saying. It would, therefore, be better to remain busy in whatever way it could be possible. When we sit idle, all thoughts of useless worries keep coming in our mind and we just get fed up.

As a Zen practitioner, if I am in pain, I focus my mind on it. I accept that pain is a part of living in the physical body. It comes as part of our physical senses. If I try to ignore pain, I could probably become unconscious of it and that would be more dangerous to me because pain is part of my warning system that my body needs some attention. I will get it checked out with a medic, but then I will rarely take painkillers, preferring to add consciousness to the healing process. The mind heals faster that way in my experience, but it takes a lot of discipline. It is my way, not a way I recommend to others as it is a matter or choice. _Derek

being preoccupied and doing something busy not only help you to forget, but able to make you as a better person on achieving a goal in life. Pain goes away with time and what better else should one do to pass time, keeping yourself busy and having a mindset of doing what is important other than having an emotional breakdown.

hi rhejans! When you get busy, make sure your mind is focusing on things you are working on not your problems. If you still thinks about your problem then it such a waste because your work will come out with poor result as you did not made it with your full heart. I am sure every one will face the situations when they think they can forget their pain by making themselves busy but they are not practically doing it. When you decide to forget your issues, problems and pain make sure you don't even think about it at all and give a full concentration and focus towards your job. Only then you will forget about it. Do not give even a second for yourself to think about it and keep making yourself busy then slowly you will forget the thing that mess your head~

yeah that is true. staying busy or totally changing course away from whatever is bothering me really is the best way to get something negative out of my mind.

This makes a lot of sense! I think it's important to remain busy when you have had something bad happen to you as this will definitely help to focus your mind on the activity at hand. There's a time for work though and there's a time to relax so it's important not to become too engrossed in the work and to take time out so to speak. I think doing something you enjoy can also take your mind away from the hurt and the pain. For me this involves regular cycling and this helps me to keep fit as well as focusing my mind on the actual cycling. It sounds like a difficult situation in your circumstances but at least you are talking about your situation and sharing what you have experienced. I really wish you well. Andrew

hi rhejans, Making yourself busy is one way of forgetting bad and painful moments in life. But at the same time try to recollect some good memories of the person you were quoting that will automatically reduce the intensity of revenge ideas. If the person is very close to you and he/she is good in nature and you need to maintain the relation with him/her, then it is better to remember and recollect some of the best moments you both had. Try to involve urself in any productive activity be it mylot or some other business. Even though u may earn only a fraction of a dollar, if u consider that is important then u will forget everything as it is happening now. have a good day.

I tend to make myself busy whenever I am depressed or whenever I try to forget someone or a not so good situation that had happened. I try to learn new thing that would improve myself. I've tried learning a new language, going on out of town trips, focusing on work etc. These things take your mind off of things, but still at the end of the day, when you are all alone, you would still think of it. There are thing that really cannot be forgotten. sometimes, you just learn how to live with it. One day, you'll know when your heart and mind is ready to forget.

I think that making yourself busy is a good way to forget because first off you might be occupying something that you enjoy doing and forget about the pain. You are living the moment and not letting yourself get beat up by the past. There is no need to remember things that would only just bring your tears. However if you plan on forgetting by making yourself busy on work, then you might hit depression. Work might bring you stress which can lead to more negative thoughts. That is the last thing you need. You should have fun. Call out some friends or maybe explore a hobby you never tried before.

You right, friend. Make ourself to busy is the best way to forget anything that hurt us. That what I do when I depress so much about what happen to me and love that I gave to my partner is broken and fade...

Trying to make yourself busy will surely help you forget the things that you don't want to remember. Try doing some fun activities. Do some stuff that you really love. Go out with friends or your family. That will surely heal the wounds that have caused you pain and try not to think of it anymore. Good luck

I did felt that kind of hurt. That was 2 or 3 yrs ago... I really loved this man and he's just playing with me. We've been in a relationship for 2 yrs and all of that was just a lie... it really hurts that made me cry for a week... What I did was, I walked to church from home everyday til I accept it... that was 5kilometers... Times heals everything... but you can't be healed if you always think of the past.... make yourself busy like do what makes you feel fun.
