How many hours do you spend on internet surfing?

Hi guys! I guess almost all people have their own laptops or PCs at home and internet surfing is widely use. I'm wondering how many hours can a person face the PC or surf the net.I cannot stand 5 hrs straight in the internet it will give me headaches and I get easily bored with the computer. My limit is only 2-3 hrs. I get some rest for several hours then I can resume. How addicted are we or how long do we need to stay on the computer. I believe some need to stay due to their work and it varies. What about you?

my computer is on for about 10 hours a day... all i do all day is checking my fb, twitter, chatting, responding to forums or sometimes just plain browsing...
my only break is when i'm hungry or when i have to take a bath...
do you think i'm included in the wide list of internet addicts??? :P

Too much addiction on the internet is not good to your health and job. Lots of people spend most of their time on the internet thus bringing to their lives. The internet makes people lazy, we have seen people who dont complete the tasks they were given at the required time because they were busy surfing the net. Internet also brings problems to ones health such as eye problems and headaches. People should restrict themselves on the amount of time they spend surfing. Personally i cant exceed 4 hours because i will be totally bored and exhausted.

Hi eljayo!
My work requires me to be in front of the computer at an average of 10 hours per day. And I do surf still when I get home. Thats around 4-5 hours per day. So that's about 15 hours in the computer daily 
. I can say I'm not addicted because I can go for days without using the computer if I'm away for vacation or other activities.

Time flies when I am on the Internet. So many wonderful things to find out and I am a very curious person!! I come to look something up and more questions come to me. often I don't mean to spend very much time and I look up and an hour or even two has passed. I try not to sit for a long time and just keep coming back several times a day.
LOL sometimes getting hungry or thirsty reminds me I have been here too long. What did we ever do without the Internet to entertain us??

How long I spend on the net depends on what im on there for. If im on there shopping, I usually know what I want so I get it and get off. If. Im on there searching for work then im on there a bit longer. Of course it takes time to check the employers out and the websites. Usually I can not stay on for more than 2hrs straight without taking a break. My eyes and head and back starts to hurt and I start seeing stars and blurred vision. But after an hour or so break, im back at it again for hours...guess I got it bad but only when im determined to find what im looking for. Sheesh its hard to find good online work
