After reading some of the stuff that have been posted, I can't understand why some of us don't have a more open mind when it comes down to this. Here is the thing... whether you like it or not, your child or loved one could easily be next. PLEASE don't be so quick to judge other people. Like it or not, these people(most)are born like that. I don't plan on having anymore kids at this age but if I do, I would except my child regardless!!! We all have been teased in school, and we know that this is not a good feeling. But if a child is gay, that's just what it is!!! There is no changing his/her mind. STOP THE MADNESS!!! Deal with it!

First of all people who have faults tries to cover them by exaggerating on someone else. If any one is born, then there is a reason for his or her birth. There is nothing GAY in this world other than the word added into the English dictionary by some wise men, if men were so wise they should figure out some way to accomodate these gifted people in their own community and help them out so that they would atleast do something good in their life before they die. GAY is in ones mind who SEE GAY in what they look at. No ONE is BORN GAY.

I didn't mean to pick an arguement. First off I would like to say thank your for responding. Second, I would like to say that I have a book from Georgia Southwestern University that clearly states this. I am so sorry that we disagree, but I DO believe what scientists say.

Personally I treat gays same way I treat all people I do not know. I am polite always, do not make weird comments or make the other person feel sad.
That being said, I think I could accept my child being gay, though I would strongly prefer that it will not go that way.
Have a nice day!

I agree 100 percent! The way I see it is..If they have an opinion about someone being gay and it is not nice then they should not say it either. Like I was told growing up "If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all". I have plenty gay friends and loved ones thats are gay and Yes I take up for them because I love and care for them no different way then how care for anyone else. Being gay does not define who they are as a person!
