Creating a discussion is something else but THAT is what we earn for here. You should go back to your started topics and add comments to those who respond, comments that further the topic and get a discussion going. It is not a case of agreeing or saying 'thank you' to those who respond. That will not earn for you. You do not earn anything for the responses that others post on your topics, they do. You earn when you comment to them because YOU only earn for your own activity here.

Hello Beingwell, If earning is the first reason to be here for some users, they should do more to improve their earnings. If they only start discussions and leave it like that, this won't earn too much for them. You asked for tips; here's my tip: take your time to watch what a successful myLotter does here. Follow her/his activity and see why do they reach the payout each month. Then all you have to do is follow their example and see how your earnings will change.

You can also earn by posting relevant images in discussions and Interests (but see the Photo Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/photoguidelines.aspx ), by using MyLot Search as you would any search engine and also to search MyLot discussions and by doing any tasks you feel you are able to do.

Unless you interact with the people on your discussions, leaving them comments and having real discussions, you will not really see much improvement in earnings. I think the advice you will receive from many is to have fun and communicate and participate and you will earn.

I guess alot of people have already said what I am about to say but I will reinforce it...it's all about participation - the more you participate = the more you earn however, it's about the quality of your posts too not just quantity...you will find that you will earn just a tad bit more for a quality post that you will for just a one liner, etc.

I don't know how to earn reasonable amount per day here in mylot. Others said that post more on discussion and if someone replies then you should comment back too. You could also use the search bar and post some pictures because mylot pays us for our activities here. The more active you are, the more money you will earn. Have a nice day!

My personal myLot experience has shown that I earn more for participating in more discussions. As long as I join in the discussion posts then I will earn well. It's important to create comments also.

To earn a decent amount here I do several things. I post frequently on other peoples topics as well as start my own discussions. I tend to research a topic that I am most interested in using the search bar and then post on what comes up. You wont make a ton of money here a day but you can make a decent amount if you spend a little time here each day.

I would first advise you to read the FAQs so you know what is going on. Start interesting discussions and add photos to them. You get paid for what you do not anybody elses work. And you can ear some from using the Mylot search engine as well. I have my discussions responses and friend's discussions sent to me through my email and then I pick up more on the site.

For me, i think the best way is, replying to discussions. I feel easier to earn that way and had been earning quite good recently as compared to my previous experience. After all, listen more to Mysd, she is an experienced mylotter who gives lots of useful advices. I even started to take my time to comment back one by one of my very old discussions. Don't be surprised to see my old discussions started to re-appear again....Happy mylotting.....

Hi beingwell, As many have iterated we only earn when we participate. Therefore, creating discussions and having us respond to them means we are the ones typing therefore, we are the only ones earning. Unless you the discussion starter comments back to each responder you are not earning. It is definitely not compulsory to comment back to all responders but keep in mind that just because they responded does not mean you earned from their response. The tip here is that I type, I earn. You type you earn. Hope this also helps along with many other great tips I see on the discussion.

I would say, just do as much as you can, don't get burned out on the site, just write or do tasks when you feel like it.

Hi, Beingwell... Based on my personal myLot experience, I earned more by using the search engine of myLot. I still have to find out what kind of discussion posts earn well, I read before that it will require 200 words before a post will be credited some earning, then I also read that it is the quality of the post. I hope to learn from the discussion that you posted if the earning per post vary, and whether it is based on quantity or quality... be well...

May I know how to earn in mylot I just started yesterday and I'm still confused how to make a topic and how to earn points?

it is not important that more discussion you have started or more response you have made. but make long and valuable discussion or response at least 3 sentences. when anyone like i respond your discussion then comment them like me. read faq for more earning.
