i browse through the news everyday. but not through the paper, but through the net. does that count?
we don't have a television in our apartment, so i have to resort to reading through the web to "connect to the world", which is actually my primary purpose of reading the news.
but even if i know the general current affairs, i would still read the paper when i could grab one. i like reading that's all. but sometimes i get bored or irritated if i'm not satisfied with what's written.

We've stopped subscribing to newspapers a long time ago. The main reason for that is the expense. So it's rare nowadays that we get to read the newspapers. The only time I get to have a newspaper is when I happen to go eat breakfast in one of two fast food chains that offer a free newspaper for a certain minimum amount you spend.
For sources of news, there is always the tv and radio.
Now, it seems you are pushing for reading in general, not just newspapers. And that's well and good. There are a lot of other reading materials out there other than newspapers. Even on the internet, there's a lot of things you can read, in fact you'll probably never run out of things to read. =P

No I don't read the newspaper everyday as such, but usually get news updates on the internet almost everyday? That kind of counts.
I do like to buy a newspaper to read on the weekends i like to buy it on certain days for real estate, Employment, and on Sunday for the TV guide.
I do like to keep up to date with the news and current events via television and the internet and discussions. =)

Yes, i like reading the newspaper everyday. I always begin my day by reading the newspaper. Besides reading the newspaper, i also checking out the daily shopping malls promotion, to save some money. It is good to read the newspaper daily, since we can get lots of information from it. Most of the time, i prefer to read the online news since i am online daily.

Yeah, i also like tea. But i don't like to read NewsPaper. It's to much papers to be wasted. I get much information from eNewsPaper, its similiar to New Portal. Indonesia have many Online News Portal, example Detik, KasKus, Kompas and many other. I recomended to read online news portal than news paper. Why ? It's always updated per hours, more efficient and can reduce global warming guys.
Magazine, book, novel and others media also we buy & get via internet. Then, we can read its from iPad, Android tablet, PC or our mobile phone. d^_^b, core, we are same on different ways, my bro d^_^b CMIIW

I really like reading the newspaper, be it at morning, noon or night. The problem is I cannot always buy it, sometimes I choose not even buy 1 weekly. To give you a sign of what the prices are here for a good newspaper, I would buy only 3 pieces with my 10 dollars Mylot earnings. Does it seem as a worthy expense for you?
I do check online to get informed on news, though.
Have a wodnerful day and thank you.

I have been reading newspapers, for God alone knows, how many years, i just can`t remember.During my school days i only used to read the comic strips which were in the newspapers but after going to college i started reading newspapers in earnest and haven`t stopped till now.Of course during my younger days i never read politics but nowadays with so much happening in politics in the entire world that reading papers takes up quite a bit of time.Nowadays i sit on the computer in the morning and read the newspapers only in the evening when i am alone and undisturbed.Earlier i used to read books, novels and mags of all types but now my reading is confined to reading newspapers and books on spirituality.

It's nice that you start your day with a cup of tea, I do the same! I don't read a daily newspaper though, they've gone up in price now haven't they? I sound like a right stingy so and so! Joking aside I do like to catch up with the news every morning and see what is going on in the world and for this I make sure I tune into Sky News every morning. I then relax for a short while as I listen to what is going on and it's virtually a gurantee that the news will be bad! That's what the punters like to watch it seems, nothing but bad news!
I do love reading though, although this is for another discussion. Talking of newspapers there is a free local paper that comes through the door on a weekly basis and I tend to have a quick browse through this, it's always nice to know what is going on in the local community. It seems a long while ago now but I did used to buy a daily paper and it was normally something like the Sun or the Daily Mirror! Those days have long gone now though! Andrew

I don't really read the newspapers that much. SOmetimes, I guess. But not always. I also read magazines... actually... it's more like I'm just looking at the pictures of the models for fashion. Hahaha! Novels? not so much. Not really a book lover. But I do like reading.. the right timing is all I need.

I read newspaper daily, but i dont like english newspaper i only read Hindi newspaper and only watch Hindi news channel because Hindi is my mother language. I read newspaper daily in morning with a cup of tea, although i watch daily news channels but news channels do not provide every local news and jobs opportunity so reading newspaper is my daily schedule.

A few years back, my day is not complete without reading a newspaper in the morning. But recently, I decided to stop my subscription to my newspaper. At first, it was hard because it became a habit. Now, I just use the internet to read news as newspapers are already on line.

I don't read the newspaper. And to be honest, i don't watch the news, either. My parents read the paper every day, and my husband reads the news online. I just don't, I'm not sure why.

We are news fanatics in my home. We get the paper delivered here daily. Both my boyfriend and I read it each and every morning. We also watch it on TV and on the internet.
We are two who definitely want to know what is going on not only in our surrounding but all over the world.

My dad has just stopped getting the newspaper delivered to our house to save money. The paper we would get was very thin and did not have a lot of information, especially on the weekends. I enjoyed getting the comics in full color, though, and I am going to miss that. But we did not really read much more of it. The bad news and the obituaries always worry my mom, so I think she is better off without it. The important stuff is always in the news, but I must admit I am less up to date than I would like to be. Sometimes I just do not find the news interesting, so I avoid forcing myself to read anything I don't want to.
