Yes and no.Yes because it will be the first Christmas in my new house. No because as I am not working I don't know how I will get presents for my kids :(. I am working part time but I think that will just cover the bills and it's only temporary for 3 weeks.

I don't enjoy Christmas any more. I hate the commercialization, the greed, the fighting over possessions. Christmas these days represents to me the opposite of what Christ represents. It's a high-pressure, pointless exercise in keeping up with the Joneses, but I keep playing because I feel guilty if I don't.

To me it doesn't seem as though it is not far away, but it will be here before we know it! I am too excited about my daughters wedding in February, so maybe Christmas won't be as exciting this year!

I love the season of christmas/new year. Having children makes its all a lot more fun though (and more expensive.) 2 of my children are already writing letters to santa. We also love to go to church and sing christmas carols. I think the reason for the season is forgotten a lot nowdays.

Yes and No. I am originally from Rhode Island. I moved to Colorado with my husband and infant son the end of July this year. We have no family here and my husband is working OT on christmas eve and christmas. However 2 weeks from friday my dad and sister are coming up and we are going to do an early christmas.

Christmas is celebrated differently in every culture/country. I am excited for this year's Christmas because I get to spend it with my family in my home country. I was living abroad where Christmas is just like any other day. It just makes it a bit special because you get to experience gift-giving. But it is truly different in my home country where you will hear Christmas songs, see a lot of Christmas decorations where you really feel the spirit of Christmas. In my home country, Christmas is really a big deal. Out of all the holidays we have, Christmas is the most celebrated. People really celebrate christmas to to fullest because more than half of the population here are Catholic that's why we truly celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who saved mankind. That's why I am so excited and is looking forward to Christmas.
