Mylot has no any rule to pay!! Is it right?

I am sure what you mean about rule. myLot does not have rules, it has guidelines. As for pay you are speaking about the algorithm. Specifically in the guidelines it prohibits us from discussing and or hinting in any discussion what we think it may be. Doing so usually gets discussions deleted. No one can tell you what it is as Admin/GAA himself has posted in discussions that even he does not know. What you earned is not dependent on your creating discussions. Remember you only earn for what you type. Us responding are the ones typing the quality content therefore, we earned. Unless you commented back with Quality typing then you earn. Therefore, you cannot count that two discussions got you 2 cents. If that were true, then how do we calculate one of mine with 80 responses my 80 comments, of which all were quality. Which actually are more as I habitually further the discussions.

Hi anand, This is the common query which every one joins MYLOT.But i think to understand algorithm of MYLOT is not easy to understand. This is the fact you get money to write quality responses you wont earn just to start discussion in that case who respond to your discussion will get earned if you comment on their response then only you will get paid otherwise you wont get anything therefore try to pull your discussions as mush as possible as you get paid for every quality response.

MyLot has a very strict and complex set of rules for calculating earnings. They don't publish them in detail and we are not allowed to discuss exactly how they work (even the Admin, GoAskAlice, has said that he doesn't know the workings of the algorithm!). What we ARE told is that we are paid for the "quality of our participation" and that the Discussion Rating System is 'factored in' (so how other people rate your discussions, responses and comments has an effect on how much you earn). There are two key words here. QUALITY and PARTICIPATION. By just starting a discussion, your participation is minimal. Others will participate by responding to your discussion (hopefully) but until you post good quality comments as replies to those responses, you do not participate any further in that discussion and it is not yet a discussion. I can see that you do sometimes maintain your discussions in this way but many people don't ... and then complain that their earnings are low! Quality is something else. A short response or comment can hardly be of any quality, so it will earn, by itself, little or nothing. It is necessary (as we are reminded every time we post) to be as descriptive as possible. Just typing a large number of words is not enough. It should be relevant, on topic and should help to further the discussion in some way. How MyLot can determine whether something is more than just 'random words' or 'waffle' is, as I say, a mystery but, however it does it, it works ... and has done so successfully for over five years. What is important, then, is to make sure that, whatever you are doing here is ALWAYS the best that you can do. When you start a discussion, you should already have in mind the kind of response you want and how you will reply to those responses.

The earnings do not work with analogy. You have to work much to make a substantial amount of money here, and it will be done with high quality content only. Do not try to follow the earnings using statistical mathematics, it will not work. Just keep on posting :) Have a good day.

The admin follows certain guidelines. Whenever, the discussion violate guidelines or terms of use, notification is sent and for which we do not get paid.Other than this it is admins power.
