Well, you can always contact the insurance company to recommend you a new agent. It's abit unfair to say the agent is a bad agent when he quitted his job. He probably found another job which suits him better.

Believe it or not, one should start preparing for a better life at a very young age, around the age of 20. I now know this because I am older now but wished someone had told me to prepare better than I have prepared. I have some mutual funds that are tied up for my retirement and that is a good thing; I cannot touch them until I am at the age of retirement. So, I did prepare a little for a better future. Life insurance, in order for it to be beneficial for a better future would have to be whole life insurance, term life will only benefit your family after you are gone. Whole life insurance generate interest which you can collect any time you want it. So, starting to save at a young age will reap more benefits for old age.

Good job, better late than never I hope you continue to tell the young people around you how important it is to start saving early. Even if you get through to just one of them would be great.

Hi Angelgirl16 and stowyk! :) Really, that is good to have a complete insurance. I feel gratitude i start my insurance when i still 23 years old. And that will last for a lifetime.., actually, until i reach 95 years old :D but, honestly, i do not think i will live that long, i can not imagine how i would look like at the time i become that old..I just pray to God to give me health, so i can enjoy my life time, doing things i want to do, watching my kids and grandchilds live well would be enough. If i live until 95 years old, i guess i will not have much friends from my age.. :)

Hello and good day. Money is limited here, so I haven't organised anything in the insurance field. If I had a decent job that could pay enough for me and my family, I am sure I would manage to save some of the payments into a life insurance which would help me in the future, possibly worse years coming. However,my thoughts on this have mainly to do on financial stability. Some years ago one of the biggest companies in the insurance sector in my country went default and the people who had an insurance contract never got paid and still protest on it. Can we be sure our money stays ours in the future?

Hello, makatas! :) It is nice to see you here :) Maybe the point here is to choose the right insurance company. That is why i choose to open my insurance account in a big insurance company which is wellknown all around the world. I knew one of this big insurance company have fall down too, outside my country, thats scared a lot of people, including one of my family, which have an insurance account in that company. But, fortunately, the insurance company (with the same brand) which in my country announce that they got nothing to do with the company in the foreign country, so the funds the manage is still save, and thats true. It finally changes its name, recently :) a bit confusing, though.. Just make sure you gain enough information before you put your money in the insurance company, so you will not regret it in the future, at the moment you need it most. Start with small nominal first, the least you think you still can afford. That is all i can suggest you :) Have a great day, makatas! ^^

Hi. I guess financial security is among the list most of us prepare for for our future. It's really a prudent and practical thing to do since all of us will our grow old and eventually would not be able to work for a living. Personally, I'd like to enjoy whatever the fruits of my labor as early as I can. I mean, what's the point of saving for the future if you can't enjoy it eventually. Getting an insurance is a good way also to prepare for the future. For me, this is an unselfish act since you're thinking not only of yourself but the people you'll eventually leave. I have my life insurance and a medical insurance also :)

Hi beamer88.. :) That is a good thing you have both life and medical insurance. I do have medical insurance too as one package with my life insurance :) Yes, I do like to enjoy the fruits of my work too, but I save some first for the unprdictable needs.. :) You never know what will happen in the future and when i need money most, i prefer to have it in my savings rather than try to borrow some from others.. I have some trouble in asking for help, i guess that my ego.. :D Have a nice day!

Nice question. Some people usually says that life is short and must enjoy it while it last. But the problem is we never know for how long we will live in this earth. Getting older is really a problem especially if we are not financially prepared. Not only we would suffer but most of the people closed to us. We would be a burden if we are not capable to support our need being elders. For me, you're right, we must be prepared financially, if we can't support our family then, well atleast, support ourselves by our own finances. And we also invest not only in financial matters but in emotional matters too. So I'm balancing those things, as much as possible. Now, this makes me think if I'm ready or prepared enough for my future getting older. This's a nice and timely reminder. have a nice day.

I am very fortunate that my parents provided for us by getting life insurance for us at an early age. The secret, start as early as possible, even small portions of your salary will do. When you are still healthy and your premiums will be low. As against getting it pretty late in life wherein all of us would find it difficult to pass that medical exam.

Yes, start earlier is an advantage. Lucky you to have such a great parents :) I start my insurance right after graduate from college, that is when i start to think about my own life, that i am the one who has to take the responsibility about my future, and as far as i can, i do not want to weigh my parents anymore.. Starting at young age giving me a lower insurance cost, and also i do not have to take the medical check up first :)

I used to have insurance but it has also matured now, and I invest only in mutual funds. My kids have grown up and gone away, so there is nothing really to save for.

This is really a important problem. I'm really afraid of going to school with a deposit in insurance company!
