Friends, I had a problem again with my PC. My windows XP, every start up always display 'windows installer' - The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or removable disk that is not available. Insert the 'update manager'disk and click ok.
Did you ever experience problem like this? How is the solution? Please share, and thanks in advance. Best wishes,

This is a registry issue. Try running a free registry cleaner (e.g. Eusing Registry Cleaner), it will clean up a lot of wrong files in the registry, and the message should disappear. As a rule, you should run a registry cleaner, and a spware/malware cleaner (like Spybot) once a week at least, especially if you are on the Internet a lot. A lot of temporary files, cookies, etc, get piled up.
You should also do a Disk Cleanup once a week.

Try uninstalling your IDM. Or you can try to reinstall IDM.
