Thank goodness for unlimited text messaging

I did not have text messaging on my phone for a few years, but I recently got a new service and a new phone. My plan is unlimited everything, so I started texting again. I am so glad that texts are unlimited. It seems like everyone texts me now. I have texted back and forth with FOUR people today just from work. Do you text a lot? Do you have unlimited texting? Are you like me and wonder how you ever lived without texting?

I have North American text, and that's nice, as long as I can use it. But it's all included in my package, and I got it when I first got in with the new company I signed up for. I'm thankful for it, sometimes I just don't want to actually talk to people, texting is easier.

I don't text. And it's probably a good thing. With my luck I'd text something meant for one person to another person who would have no idea what I would be talking about.

I am sometimes texting back and forth with more than one person at a time. There are times where I would probably be in a load of trouble if the texts went to the wrong person. LOL Especially when one of the people I am texting with is my boss.

I have unlimited text, mobile to mobile calling, and web. I don't use it a whole lot.. mostly I just text my husband all day. I do find it easier. I used to have to try to remember all the things I wanted to tell him, and let him know when he decided to call me. I never called him unless it was important because I don't like to interrupt him while he's working and I don't know if he's with a customer or out of the store or what. But now if I think of something I want to tell him, or am just feeling stressed, I text him. If he's with a customer.. he'll just get back to me when he's done. Usually though he texts right back.

I think I text more than I make phone calls anymore. I tell the babysitter to text me instead of calling me when I am at work because I don't always have time to listen to a message, but checking a text is pretty quick.

I don't text near as much as my daughter does..but I like the unlimited text too. I don't like having to worry about going over..even though I would never even come close. I am not addicted to it yet..but I like it.

That seems great that you have a plan with unlimited everything i.e. you can enjoy your time by texting your friends anytime when you want to talk with them. I use texting services less often but it is a great thing when you have to ask someone anything without bothering him or her. Have a nice day!

I like the convenience of not having to bother someone and they can text back or call when they are free.

Absolutely, the other person may be disturbed if you call in an important meeting asking if he or she is free in the evening?

I used to text a lot more than I do right now. I currently send and receive about 200-300 texts a day, used to be much higher. I've always had unlimited texting so I really take advantage of it, lol. So happy it's an option on my network! :) Don't know how I'd manage without, I don't like talking on the phone all the time so texting really makes my life easier.

Yeah, it's more convenient to text rather than talk on the phone for hours. Some days I just have so much to say I have to call though, even though in the end of my rant I end up rambling about little nothings lol.

Hi! I don't really text a lot. Those days of texting all day are gone. I remember I used to text all day until my thumbs hurt. But there came a day that I did not want to text anymore. I mean, I still text but not like those days. I only text a lot now if it's work related or something important. But texts like how are you, what are you doing, and all that, and forwarding messages just to pass the time and to consume the unlimited text... I don't do it anymore. What I do wish I have now is unlimited call because I'm too lazy to text now more so to wait for the reply of the person I texted. I am actually thinking of getting a plan with unlimited call.

I don't text much as I have a pre-paid phone and there's no one really to text other than friends and family out of state. Otherwise it costs me .15 a text, when our income increases I hope to upgrade phones and plans so I can "keep up with the jones' " Texting is just the modern version of passing notes in school.

Unlimited everything for a fixed amount of payment every month? Cool! That would be a great deal for someone who uses their phone a lot. I do avail of unlimited services but only unlimited texting. I have one specific person that I text with everyday and the service that I avail also gives free 4 hours of call time. I dont call that much though so getting those free credits is quite a bargain. This unlimited subscription can only be used between numbers using the same network. I also have a cellphone subscription plan but I only use that for calls, emergencies, and all the other networks. It's a private line that only the people, places, and things, of-priority to me, can access. I mean only a few people know this number. I would only text with more than one person when and if Im "unlimited" and Ive sent a forwarded message to all people in my phonebook. That's when they usually reply and ask how I am, so that would start the text conversation. That's just me anyways.^_^

Tell me about it. Years ago you would have to pay for a certain amount of texts. My friends cell phone bill would be like $300 a month just because of it. Now with unlimited texting, she doesn't have to often fight with her mom about the cost of the phone bill. Now days that's become the norm. Pretty much people write and speak in texts. LOL! :)

I have only been using Text on my phone now for like 2 1/2 yrs. I always thought I would never use it much, and why pay for something you would not be using. Now I have unlimited Texting and some days use it more than others, but it a Great way to keep in contact with people instead of picking up the phone and calling them, posting back to them on Facebook, or even sending a message in an Email.

I have never particularly liked text messaging. It takes a lot longer to type a text than it does to talk to someone and it is a royal pain to me. While it may be more private in that people can't hear what you have to say, for me it just isn't worth the effort. I'm glad you like it. When I was in China, I did text because it was easier than trying to understand my student's English sometimes, but other than that, I have never used it.

I have lived w/out texting for 68 years & will probably die w/out ever knowing how to do that. I do have a cell phone that i very seldom use. I don't even know what my number is, have to look it up if i ever need to know, lol.I have lived w/out alot of new inventions because like cell phones i'm just not that interested in them & what u can do on them.Guess i'm old fashioned, huh?

Well, I am not fanatic in texting. Much better they give us no expiration on the load than having unlimited text. Because if we are not texting a lot. We save some money. Unlimited text will force us to text more to consume the said promo

I don't text a lot,thu we also have same feature like unlimited text or unlimited calls, depends on the plan, either a monthly or daily plan. There are times that i do text a lot with my siblings and friends and enjoyed the unlimited text,or sending quotes to my friends.
