I must admit, I only get to read MyLot's FAQ every time I get a violation or each time one of the members here posts it in discussions to make a strong point. I haven't really read it in full yet.
I wonder how many of you guys haven't read the FAQ's as well. I am sure there are already many who've read it. Now, I'd like to know which members haven't.
Have a great day! Happy lotting!

Hello Beingwell,
I admit I haven't read all the FAQs. I haven't read any question about blogs, tasks as creator, weather. So, am I guilty?
I think that as long as a user doesn't bother others with questions that have their answers in the FAQs, it's their business if they read them or not (though there are important things to know about in the FAQs, you know?).

Sorry for the photo uploaded in the response, it was not my intention to upload it here. I had two tabs opened and instead of uploading it in the dogs interest, my browser uploaded it here.
I double checked the FAQs. They don't say anything about the interdiction of keeping two myLot tabs opened.

And how on earth were you able to do that inu? I don't have this privilege yet? Is that it? I haven't uploaded a photo yet in my discussions or responses.
Hmm..... better check the FAQ then!

I'm still in the process of reading it but I just finished with the discussion guidelines and I got quite confused. Everybody is saying that everything is about participating, participating, participating but when you see how many don'ts are there you're not sure how to participate. And also how we can know when our discussion is not accepted for example? Are there any notifications for that or you'll find out when you don't get paid?

Well, that's what I got too elida. Just participate actively and you'll earn here in MyLot. Here's one this that I've learned just recently, though. You'll earn more if you can keep your discussions going.
Let's take our discussion here. You responded; and so I response back. If you response back and I response back once more over and over (Well, not on a nonsensical note, of course.), the two of us would earn more from this discussion than just posting 1 response. So that would be an example of an active discussion or an active participation for one single topic. If you do this to a lot of topics, then you'll be earning more from this site.
And you don't learn that from just reading FAQs. You learn that from just participating in this site. Cool right?

Well to be safe, I always make sure that my discussions are not offending. I respond politely as if I'm really talking to the person real-time. These are the basic rules of communication and we can't go wrong with it. Just relax and have fun!

He-hee, you made it sound even cooler :).
Yes, you're right of course but the point is that even if you make a row of answers back and forth as you're saying the system may still decide not to accept it. For example one of the don'ts is not to post the same answer to different discussions. But if you answer my post and in a way you lead me to answer the same way how I answered other friend (I don't change my opinions according to the person) then I'm not getting credit for my answer and I'm not sure if you'll get either. (I'm not sure with this but that's what I understood from the guidelines). My point is if there is a way how to check whether the discussion you're starting is according to the rules or not. Do you know something about it?

Yes I did but I didn't read it thoroughly. I read it when I need to know about something. For example, if I want to know how to earn faster, I will search the related topic in the FAQs page. By this way, I can remember forever because we know what we want to know. If I just read them all, I doubt if I will forget them all.
Yes, I also read the FAQs or guidelines if my discussions or response being deleted by the admin. I want to know which of guidelines has been violating.

I guess most of us doing so even few of use never read the FAQs. They who didn't ever read the FAQs just heard the information from other members or try and error. We may get misleading information if we just read from other member's discussions. FAQs page is the only valid and trusted information. We should refer to member who ask about mylot to read FAQs.

So I guess I am not alone in doing that de_toya. I would normally visit the FAQ section when I want to know something specific. Other than that, I would just follow what the other lotters told me before, which is simply to participate in discussions.

I actually haven't read them quite thoroughly, but I have skimmed them over and reviewed the key points! Usually when something of mine gets violated, I quickly read over them to see what I did wrong. Like this one time I asked a question, and it got marked as a "Poll Question", which is apparently not allowed. I really don't think it was a poll question though...

Hi friend!
I read the FAQ's before before I started a discussion and sadly,I didn't quite understand it fully, lol! I thought I understood it but I realized my errors when I recieved notifications from mylot, haha! It was only then that I understand what's the rule supposed to mean, hehe! Sometimes, experiencing the errors makes us more knowledgeable about mylot. And honestly, until now,I sill recieve notifications,oh my! But not as many as before, lol!

Haha! Well you and me both mtr! Most of my notifications however are more like an FYI because I've responded to a discussion that has been deleted due to MyLot rule violations. At least, I was not the one to violate. I wonder if that affects my earnings, though.. What do you think?

I have read them. I think I well continue to read them every now and then just to be sure nothing changes.

I also did that but I didn't really read it through. I think I only checked the FAQ to know how I would earn and how to get paid around here.

Yes I've read the FAQ's and from time to time I go back to the FAQ's for guidance. I think we should take time to read. Sometimes we waste our time posting or responding to discussions only to find them deleted the next day. Well to avoid that, let us consult the FAQs. Sometimes though even if we have already read the FAQs we still commit wrong moves here, how much more we we have no knowledge of the FAQs.

That's true salonga. I've had been deleted quite often before. But I knew my post was not supposed to be posted in the first place. I just posted it for my personal gains, i.e. getting refs, increasing traffic, etc. But now I know better, I'm strictly going to follow the rules around here so I earn more hahaha!

This is one of my sweet sites, ermadear. When I was new, I visited the FAQs but all the rules haven't really stuck. I only remember not to post ref links, not to discuss MyLot earnings and then every thing else seem to be about participate, participate, participate in discussions. I have to admit though, it is only these past weeks that I may have actually gotten the entire idea of MyLot.
