E3 has come and gone and Nintendo has revealed the New console set to launch in 2012. Wii U. What do you think of the new console?
I am a bit skeptic, but I think it'll end up being a blast to play once the developers start to make exclusive content for it

once more, nintendo released a console primarily for kids, and they dont suport hardcore gamers. Everyone has been saying that "they are amazing!" but like the SEO of playstation said (something like this) "welcome nintendo! we did that in 2006". He ir referring to graphics. Yes they are slighty better, but the fact is that in 2012 or 2013 they are already releasing a new console with graphics that are better in every way and than, just like wii, wii U is going to be obsolete in terms of graphics and games, because no one is making graphics worse.

Nobody has seen the finalized Grphics of the WiiU. Stop buying into the Sony hype. What about WiiU says kids only. Ghost Recon showed how it could be used for more hardcore games, and it's getting Ninja Gaiden, Arkham City, and many more hardcore titles.

I just watched a video on the Nintendo site. I would love to try them out i cant wait til they are released to see what all the fuss is about. I also like the Nintendo 3DS models. They are extremely cool... I'm thinking my son needs one so i can play it sometimes. I have always loved Nintedo i remember them through out my childhood. I love mario as most 80's babys do.

Ahh, having kids is always a good excuse to have fun with your kids toys yourself. I have no kids of my own but at the weekend just gone we had a birthday doo for my sister before she jetted off to South Africa for the summer and we put a water canal out in the garden for the little ones who attended which we still have from when we were kids. You can throw these things away, you never know when you might need them. We were planning a BBQ but as the forecast predicted rain we held fire. It turned out delightful sunghine as luck would have it. Damn it!!!

I am most excited to see what amazing new games are going to come out for it. i am glad it will be HD, but I don't have an hdtv so can't really use that feature. I also like the new controller, but I already have a tv for video games and two for tv's, so to me it doesn't matter if I can play while someone else is watching TV, because I can already do that.
I really hope the controller will be implemented into the games in a great way, otherwise I don't have much to look foward to in the wii u.

I think it will be a great console. I have the Nintendo Wii, and I play it a lot. I'm not sure if I will buy it right away, or wait for more games to come out. I hope they have a really good Mario Kart game with it. I'm also expecting some good online games. Online games always make the console better.

I think the Wii U could take off. Nintendo wants to target the hardcore gamer audience this time. I was also impressed with some of the demos they had for the Wii U. Such as the Zelda one, man the graphics for it, were awesome. I'm a bit iffy on some of the hardware though. The controller looks like it will be expensive.
