Did you pray for love?

Honestly, I did prayed for love. I never really experienced loved when I was still studying because I was too busy with my studies and busy praying for the right guy to come. I remember really crying while talking to God, asking him to give me the man who he plans to love me and the man who he plans to be with me forever. I honestly did cry that one night not because I really wanted to be in a relationship but because I wanted God to show me the person whom he planned for me and that I don't want to choose for myself for I might be choosing the wrong person. Thank God he really showed me the person whom I love so much and whom I think loves me as well. I agree with you, the journey doesn't stop there, we still have a very long way to go. But I still continue praying that he is already the right one for me and the right one whom God has planned be to be with for the rest of my life.

Yes, I did pray for that before, when I'm young and driven by my emotion. But I'm not praying for that anymore today, the best thing for me to pray is what I become someday, His plan for my life and what His will for me to do every single day. And about for the love, well if I become a person that God want me to be, that will be next. =)

You really prayed for God to give you a boyfriend? I'm not sure why that surprises me. I have never thought to ask God for a wife. I've never needed one before. Why would I need one now? Its interesting that you pray for this. Of course you already have a boyfriend, so you are simply praying that the one you are already with, is the one God meant for you to be with? What if he isn't, but you marry him anyway? Curious.

No. I don't waste my gods time when I can just go out there and meat other people. I think my gods have better things to do than hearing me complain about not finding Mr right. Why should god gave you everything if you are not helping yourself. If you want to find the right man, you go out, get to know that guy and if he is not the one you move on until you find the right one.

Hi! You are lucky that God answered your prayers. There were times that I did pray to God about sending a good guy for me. I didn't even wish for the right man already. I just wanted someone to be with me and make me happy. But God didn't give me anyone so I stopped praying. I don't take it against God though. I'm still young and maybe God has reasons for everything. I admit though, that sometimes I think God is being unfair and He doesn't really have a reason for everything. But I stopped thinking about it. I just take whatever life gives me.

Truly speaking I do pray to God, but not for giving me the right girl but to give me the one whom I love the most. And I am sure if mine is true love God will gave her hands to me.

Blessing comes our way when we faithfully pray. I'd say my boyfriend's a blessing. Well three years ago, I used to have a close guy friend in YM. I had a big crush on him and I think he also had a crush on me. When I found out that he likes me, our relationship started to change a bit but he never courted me. It's a long long distance relationship for over 3 years, however we never saw each other in person. One time my long distance crush confessed that he has a new girlfriend. I thought he found a girl in his place. To my surprise, the girl was from another country as well. Since he has a girlfriend, I kind of backed off and stayed away from chatting him. So I made a 10 abstinence from going online in YM. Within the 10 days, I prayed and asked to God to heal my heart and give me strength to move on. I also asked God a guy whom I could love through thick or thin. Ten days after staying away from the pc.. I logged in to my social networking site which used to be friendster back then. A lot of guys invited me to be their friend. So I added them up. The next day, some of them were asking my yahoo ID.. so I never hesitated to give it to them.. I don't really care, I'm just too fond of chatting anyway. So this guy added me in YM.. the next day I came online, he left me an offline message saying "hi". I also replied "hello" then he suddenly came online. We chatted for an hour. I never really liked him at first. As days passed by he we seemed to be chatting almost everyday. I knew we had a common friend and that we're in the same school in the university but he's in a different campus and college. When we were still chatting he mentioned he was in India, and I said I'm from the Philippines. So 30 days later, we planned to meet on our first date. It went fine. I think I had a crush on him at that time. So we dated for over 6 months and I never felt any better, I even forgot the feeling of being in love with a long distance chatmate. After 6 months of dating, he courted me.. I was hesitant at the time as we were still college students on our final year. However, I said yes. A year later... he sent me a christmas card saying on the cover saying: "YOUR LOVE IS A GIFT.. GOD, IN HIS INFINITE WISDOM LED US TO EACH OTHER..." I had goosebumps all over my body, I almost cried when I read the cover of card. AMAZING!! just like an answered prayer... I think he's the one.. ^_^

yes. that was before marriage. Now after marriage we pray for getting a child. And after getting a son and a daughter we pray for their education. Then prayers are sent to God for getting employment or work for children. After that it is turn to pray for their marriage. and now again it is prayer for getting grand child....this is a cycle==never ending cycle. All this amidst heavy rains? I remember to have read ur post re. heavy rains. am I right?

Hi chiyosan, I did and still praying for love myself. I've prayed to God to give me the right man for me, I am not asking for the perfect but for the right one only.. I'm still young, I know that and yet I still have a long journey ahead of me and I'm willing to face it and am willing to wait for the right one will come!

Yes, I always pray for love. And I prayed for my boyfriend. To have a loving boyfriend and I got one. i am so blessed having him just how happy I am. I thank GOD for everything, for what i have now. I hope he's the one! I hope God will bless our relationship. I trust everything to him. :)

yeah..i did. I've prayed to Allah that he will give the right man for me even though not a perfect one, but at least he will take care of my heart, he will never make me cry and most of all he will take care of me,he has time for me when i need him ( no excuses),,if that man is my present boyfriend i would pray to Allah that he should give me sign if he is the right man for me. if he is the right man well i would love too...,LOL..and if not just make me happy with this guy. ;)

Yes, I did pray to God to give me someone who will love me, take care of me and who'll accept every being of me. Perhaps, everyone asks God for someone to live with. Whom they can be happy for the rest of their lives. :) God gave me someone I never expected to have a relationship with. I just hope we could make our relationship last. I did. I prayed for that special someone who will come into my life, sweep me off my feet. Am I getting mushy? LOL Honestly I did pray for that right guy and I would like to think that he is "the one", my current boyfriend. I do believe in asking God through prayer for the things that we want and need, and these will be given to us.
