I am really curious to know what was your number (in bracket) when you make first $10 on myLot. It will help me a lot. As I can get the idea when I can make my first payout on myLot.

What everyone else's number was is of not importance to what yours will be. Our activity is different. Some write long posts, some write short ones, Some comment over and over again on the same discussion and it never moves up. Some are not here for the earnings and there is at least one user who had over 3000 before he reached it but as he is in a country not covered by Paypal it is of no importance. Are you aware that some users reach payout with (0)? They just come here to complete the tasks and never particpate in the discussions at all. The star is a major factor too because that affects earnings. Did you also know that it is possible to reach payout with just one discussion? If it receives responses and the starter just comments backwards and forwards over and over again with those who participate, the earnings will add up and there will ne no reason to start another one. DId you also know that this borders on a poll/survey and might be deleted as such by admin? If you start topics with something original to discuss then you will reach your payout too, with a higher or a lower number compared to others, but that is not important.

Obviously referrals, if they are active, will help to reach payout. I have many but only a handful are actively posting occasionally. I don't count on them to reach my payout. I never suggest that new users try to get referrals immediately because I feel that if they furst learn how to use myLot themselves, it will then be easier for them to inspore their referrals and help them do well here too. Then they will see the results. Have you tried adding your referral link to the bottom of your emails sjvg? Maybe one of your friends will see it and use it to join

Don't forget the referrals also Mysd. If you have more active referrals then it will be easier to reach payouts early. In case you have more active referrals you will see your earning growing up without your active participation but again that needs lot of work to do to make referrals. I have 5 referrals but no one is active. Hey Mysd can you suggest me some maethod to earn referrals but remember i don't want to give them money.

@mysdianait: Great information. It was really helpful. But don't take my question otherwise. You said that a moylotter can reach 10 without any number or it can go upto 3000. I want to tell you that I was wanted to know these little things from mylot users who have made it. So that I could get an idea. @sjvg1976: I agree that referrals helps reaching 10 more quickly but at the same time time it is very difficult to get a referral. Happy myLotting :)

Actually I'm not here for the money. I think my number is close to 200 right now, and I haven't reached the two dollar mark yet. I think you need to be around 1000 to make your first $10.

It is possible to reach payout when your number is (0) with no particpation in the discussions at all - if you complete tasks and use the search.

The ONLY reliable way of forecasting when you are likely to reach $10 is to look at your average daily earnings. Only you know what your activity pattern is and what is the quality of your participation. Your User Rating is NOT a good guide to how much you or anyone else earns because, in the first place, it is NOT a post count (unless you make no comments in your own discussions or elsewhere). It increases by one for the first response and the first comment you make in any discussion and it doesn't take into account any subsequent posts in that discussion, even though they may count towards your earnings. The UR also only increases by one when you get two responses (or one response and a comment) in a discussion. As MysDianaIT has pointed out, even if someone ONLY participated in the Discussion area, it would be perfectly possible to reach payout by starting just ONE discussion and then just posting comments on the responses. (It would have to be a very good discussion topic with a number of active participants, of course, to be continued for so long but it would be perfectly feasible to reach payout with a UR of just 1 or 2).

If you knew that when you posted the discussion, you should have phrased it differently. There are many users here who don't know that the User Rating is not related to earnings and who might be misled by what you posted. Misleading other users IS a serious matter, so what (to you) might seem like a joke or a light-hearted question is actually irresponsible if you are suggesting/implying something which you already know to be untrue.

Yes you are absolutely right on your point. But dont take it as serious matter but act more sportingly. After joining mylot I read mylot guidelines very carefully. And I know the basic of earning at mylot. Your comments are only enriching my knowledge. And that's what I am here for. Happy myLotting :)

I will keep in my mind in near future. Although I am not sure the title was that much misleading to my mylot friends. Yes I know misleading someone is serious offense. But I have not posted anything which is untrue (to best of my knowledge). Happy myLotting :)

I had a high number but that was only because my posts were not of good quality. I think i was posting to get the number back then. But now I think I have done less than 150 posts and I am already about to reach payout. But that is also with a lot of help from tasks.

I heard that posting quality also decide your earning. Is it true? Happy myLotting :)

Yeah i do believe I received about 6 dollars from tasks and about 4 from actually all other labor. You just have to make good discussions and make sure you follow through on your discussions and make chat. Which means numerous posts on one discussions between 2 or more people. Also Just make sure you are posting with quality. There are people who have made 65 cents in one day I know because I am one of them. If you make 65 cents a day then you should make payout if not over that before the end of the month. You should actually make around 19 dollars.

@Amanda81587: You mentioned about 'tasks'; do you think those 0.01 is worth spending valuable time. In microworkers one get more than that for same kind of job. I am also curious to know how many posts you make to earn 65 cents. It is an achievement. @revindrankk: There is no bound that you have to spend a specific hours per day in mylot. As long as you enjoy your stay here, there is no issue. Happy myLotting :)

The number has no relation to the pay out as you can take pay out every month by doing tasks. I realized as much and this month i a m confidently heading for the half century mark and next month onward it will be 100$.

Hi seobuz, I have not reached my first payout though my number is more than 625 but very near to first payout. But it does not depend on the number actually it hardely matters if your number is say 88 you may have got the first payout & be nearer to the second one. I have seen many of the members having so less number but have received the payment. It depends on the other things like if a person is having lots of active referrals & uses search engine frequently & do lot of taks can reach more faster than the person who involve in discussions only.

actually the number beside your name doesn't imply anything about your earning...I have more than 500 now and I have around $4.68 in my account ....to earn more you need to have some good quality discussion..you also can do those tasks available here to earn more.and of course you can use mylot search.
