Do you believe in God?

Yesterday I was with my group of friends and we were discussing religion. I'm not religious, I believe religion per se can do very little for people, but I do believe in God, wich means I'm basically spiritual but not religious. One of my friends is an agnostic, meaning he thinks there's no God but wouldn't completely denie it;s existance. Another guy in my group is very religious, he says he even ears God, wich in my mind is weird because I think that if you believe in God you should not live in fear of him/her/it. I also can't bring myself to think God is an old man with a long beard that sits down all day. I can't imagine what it looks like but I believe is not like something I've probably seen before. What do you think?

Of course I believe in God. Wheather your religious or not, I'm sure everyone belivies in god., he's always with you,. side by side with you. through all your pains/life struggles/ and through all those happy moments as well..

When you say, whether I believe in God, it depends on how you define god. Yes, there are different meanings of this word. Check this video:

Just to let you know, it's very much possible that God is a level 2 or greater civilization who designed us to serve them. It may sound a bit weird at first but once you think on it, you will find it much more logical than any other theories related to god.

I believe G-d is a Being that can come down in many forms and answers to many names.Meaning Jesus, Allah, G-d, Buddha,is One Being. Because different people need different things He/She comes down and fulfills different needs.That is why there are so many religions. And this is why I respect every religion. I see religion as a path to this Being. There are many paths and many don't need a path , like you . And many don't want to follow any path, like atheists. And because of these different paths , one person may have the need to feel Him/Her. I feel sad for them but I respect their path.

Though science does not believe in the existence of God but I personally believe that there is something supernatural which we, the common people, worship as God.

I do believe in God. I do believe in a Higher Being. Although I cannot see God, His presence is felt in my daily life. He strengthens me when I'm weak, makes me happy when I'm sad, reaches out for me even if I run away. These things may not be what is actually happening but I can feel a very close encounter with Him in times of adversity. There are some things that are at times very impossible to happen but because of my faith in Him, He actually makes it possible. I believe that God is always there to redeem me from all my trials in life.

I do believe in God because everything is in order and I don't believe that we came from a big explosion nor from Darwin's therory of evolution. Atheists claims that God can be beaten by science but they never know that God himself is a science why? Because all of his creations are perfect indeed.
