Murali Vijay is a talented player. He is capable to play big innings. He has done it before and there is no reason why he can't do it this time. The way he has shaped up in this match scoring just 9 runs of 68 balls he has faced it appears he means business. The experience of VVS Laxman is there to help him. I sincerely hope and wish Murali Vijay perform in this match.

Yeah....I too likes his way of cricket.Since i am a fan of Chennai Super Kings, the real champions.Murali Vijay is excellent in Batting and fielding. He has his own style. He starts slowly, and when he is in,he strikes.Run will be coming from everywhere.Remember his ipl century 127 runs from just 56 balls.this shows his cricketer.Any way,now its a different job.and he has done it before.so i hope he will do it this time too...

You may say murali vijay is the player of 20-20.But dont say he cant play test matches. He has good domestic test performance, thats why he is selected for carribean series.
But he is now in a big trouble. He got 5 good chances and ruined all of them.He will have to do well if he needs to get in Indian test team.
Already he has been excluded from the england test series.

For most of the morning he looked like he can do the job. Though he was struggling to hit the ball off the meat of his bat, he was still hanging in well. But finally he succumbed to steepling bounce generated by Ravi Rampaul to fall just before lunch. Kohli who came at his fall, went back to the pavilion two balls later another victim of the bounce in the pitch.
Cheers!
Ram

Vijay battled it out in the first innings and tried to grind out a fighting knock like Dravid but he is better advised to keep playing his shots as nad when allowed by the dominant bowlers. In this he should follow VVS who did not let go any scoring chance.Stone walling is a good option if wickets are falling at the other end but if the runs are not put up you are playing into the opponents' hands. So runs are important to spread the field and breathe easy.
