I guess I am weird about this but I don't care for tacos in the Mexican restaurants, fast food or other wise. I love home made tacos! With the tomatoes and sharp cheese and maybe some salsa added to spiced hamburger pieces. And I would rather have corn tortillas instead of the flour tortillas.
And I love fish tacos! I like pollock or some light,firm white fish meat with shredded cabbage and some 1000 Thousand Island salad dressing. Delicious! In corn tortillas ofcourse.
Which tacos do you like? Do you have a favorite fast food taco or are you one that likes the home made ones too?

I like all tacos! From the Mexican restaurants to home made tacos! I really like the ones we have here that are 3 for a dollar! They are so yummy!! And I really like the ones my husband makes at home too!!

I have never made tacos myself but had them at a Taco Bell when I was in California about 20 years ago. I liked them a lot and wish I wasnt diabetic as now the typical corntortilla shells and also the flour tortillas are not suitable for me to have anymore.

hmmmmm I love Taco Bell and am so disappointed they are not making their way to Germany. I hate subways so would someone please substitute them with Taco Bell, LOL

I have only eaten tacos once, and they were good. Not great, but good.
I do not know whether they were in corn or flour tortillas or any other details on them, though.
However, I do agree with you that homemade foods sometimes are better than those bought outside, and way more nutritious too.

It the tacos were only 'good' then they were problems in flour tortillas. Not the best by any means. Yes, homemade is always best.

I don't feel buying taco's at a restaurant is a good value at all! You'd need to eat a dozen taco bell taco's to feel like you even ate anything.
We eat taco's at home. Though usually I make it into taco salad is finger food is easier for the kids. Just seasoned meat,refried beans, sour cream, salsa, cheese, shredded salad, and tortilla chips.

I used to make a delicious taco salad with russian dressing and different type beans. It was very good.

Tacos was my favorite, especially the home made cooked by my mother. I have tasted the beef tacos, I never tried the fish. The beef was really good, and I love every ingredients and vegetables in the tacos. I don't eat tacos much these days because I got tired of eating it almost everyday before lol.

Personally I Love Tacos. I have tried many of the different Fast food places for tacos. Some of them are definately better than others, but I do agree that homemade Tacos are the best. Then you can add as much meat, cheese, olives, lettuce, sour cream, salsa etc. as you want. We actually use Flour tortillas when we make ours at home, but depending on my mood sometimes I just eat the ingredients off the plate instead.

Me too! I like the corn tortillas best. Gives it a richer flavor. I think it is a good way to some veggies done me. I am not real big on them. Thanks.

Ya know I love tacos as well, and I don't like them out in restaurants either. I find they really don't have any flavor. I make them at home and make them spicy with lots of flavor!Sometimes with the leftover beef taco meat mixture I make taco goulash and it is yummy!

I'm not a big taco fan. Much prefer a taco salad over just plain ol' tacoes.

I used to get the best taco salads at a little sandwich shop just next door to the building where I worked as a long distance telephone operator. They fixed a big one with garbonzo beans and a russian salad dressing. It was delicious!

I used to only like crunchy beef tacos. I never cared that much about a soft tortilla taco. I never had a fish taco. that doesn't really turn my tastebuds on. I like chicken tacos. i think they give you more flavor.@celticeagle (166757)

I don't care for the crunchy tortillas. I used to but my teeth aren't good and it pokes me in the gums and hurts. Chicken is favorful. I think the cabbage brings out the flavor of the fish.
