Will users come back to Sidetick?

Like many other Sidetick users, I haven't used the site very much since it stopped paying users to comment on Jenny Stein's blog. There were still ways to make money on the site, but nothing that could replace the guaranteed income from Jenny's daily blog. Yesterday, however, it was announced that the site is going to bring back the old program (I'm guessing that means Jenny's blog will be back but the announcement didn't exactly make that clear) but with some changes. If you used Sidetick before, do you think you'll be coming back?
Personally, I'll definitely start visiting Sidetick regularly again if they bring back Jenny's blog or put something in its place that is just as easy to earn from. I'm very curious about how the details will work, though. Given the hubbub about Sidetick "going international" after the last big change, I wonder if the new program will just be open to users from a few countries like the old one was. Will they try to make participating in the new program dependent on completing offers like they briefly experimented with doing before? We should get the details next week, but in the meanwhile it's fun to speculate!

I was a member of. This site and they sent me an email about going. Back to way it was. I don't know yet I will have to check it out first.
I have not been there in forever. The site was getting really sad.

It was getting sad...I remember when 300+ people would comment on Jenny's blogs and there were lots of user blogs and pictures being posted every day. It's much, much quieter there now though some of the contests are popular. Hopefully things will get back to the way they used to be!

I have also an account there but I am not anymore opening it since it is not paying me at all. Well maybe if it is like facebook then people might not leave the page even though it is not paying.right?

Yeah, you can just use the site like you would any social network and make friends. I think most users there are trying to make money online, though, which is the reason it's gotten much quieter since Jenny's blog went away. I think you could make money with the site but you'd have to refer lots of other people...that's easier said than done!

Agreed -- I don't think most people stopped visiting because they disliked the site but rather because it was no longer earning them money. However, there's also the trust factor...the site's been through so many changes in the past year it's hard to know what to expect from it in the future.

I was one of the many who left because they decided to change how the system work. That was really one of the worst things they could do for that site. Numbers went down like CRAZY! If they bring back the old system I would definitely look into going to the site again! I also liked getting a point for every picture view. Hope that comes back as well!

It always made me sad to login and see how much activity had declined since the latest change -- I think a lot of people thought they didn't have much of a chance to win a contest. It is frustrating to participate and end up with nothing...I did manage to win some tickbucks in one of the easier contests so it can be done, but not reliably. My guess is activity across the site will really pick up again if the new system is as good as the old one.

Hi there,
I am still a member there, though I do not visit as often as before. I did read about some upcoming changes again, and not sure if that will entice me to continue there. There have been so many changes in a matter of a few months that I am unsure of the stability of the site.
I do visit, therefore, will check out what changes they are hoping to instill. Happy sideticking if you decide to continue there also.

It's true: change has been the one constant at Sidetick. However, they have always paid me throughout it all. As long as that remains the case, I'll definitely remain a Sideticker!
