This year my allergies have been so bad, my eyes itch my nose runs and it's making me crazy. I take a small pill for it which helps for a little while. But I think this pill is not good to take everyday. I always have a dry mouth and my nose dries up so much that I still can't breath. What can I do for these allergies, besides take the over the counter pills? What do you take for allergies?

I have bad allergies at this time of year, and I will agree with you that they seem to be even worse than usual this year. I take one tablet every morning, but even this does not help all of the time. I find that whenever I sleep with a window open, the pills will not work the next day as there is already far too much pollen in my system. My Father has never understood this, and will often get up during the night to open a window in the house. I can tell when he's done this, as I suffer immensely for it the next day. I have suggested to him that he should get a fan instead as this would keep him cool but I wouldn't suffer; however he never seems to be able to do this.
