I think most of us people can relate to the music especially if you had been through a break up or in love..are you one of those who can relate to music in that moment?or just merely listening to it and don't bother to mean it?

I don't think music's relation to us is limited to tough break-ups or other romantic situations (although you'd be hard-pressed to find a songwriter who doesn't write about those kinds of subjects). I think for any moment in life, both difficult and easy, happy and depressing, optimistic and hopeless, big or tiny, there will be a song or score that fits the occasion. I once heard Garth Brooks make a statement that when you hear a song that expresses words you've always felt in your heart but never could say aloud, you think, "Wow, somebody is speaking to me," and that has been my experience. I have been collecting music for years - mostly non-mainstream - and most of the artists I like (with the exception of Meat Loaf, Garth Brooks and a handful of country stars from the early to mid 1990's) are people your average Joe or Jane won't have ever heard of. A lot of people assume I am not a music buff because I don't watch American Idol and shows like that but the reality is that just the opposite is true. I have a song for every moment of every day of my life (literally - and yes, I really do know that many songs). I have an odd formula for listening. I don't just follow the aesthetic qualities. I tend to songs as allegories of sorts - each part from instrumentals to vocals represents something. I even try to decipher the psychology of what the speaker in the song might be like. I always hate it when someone says, "I love this version so much better because the vocals are so much warmer whereas the original singer came off as cold," to which I always think, "Well, read the lyrics - do you think a person who feels that way would really come off as warm?!" You really do have to consider the emotional representation in terms of the sound and not just the sound itself. At least that is the way I see it. So in a nutshell, yes, I do relate to music and music I think relates to me, and I never met anyone who didn't love music of some kind.

I love music so much, especially Emilie Autumn's. I can relate in some way to almost all of her songs. You should check her out.

Hi... No music no life. Music is a thing which no stranger in our lives. We know it is natural human nature to always crave entertainment as the opiate of the soul and as an instrument to express themselves.

I think yes, music relates to the life of the people who love the music. If you go to party where you have music that means you are in a happy mood. I will listen to happy songs when I am happy and to sad songs when I am sad. It is something which happens automatically. It is also a law of attraction. Observe sometimes yourself and you will see it for yourself also.
