People are always asking proof that the Bible is accurate and correct, so I think I need a little help answering this one, because I got shut down quick by a guy talking about a magic sandwhich, which he claimed cure cancer, which I couldn't prove, even though I know that it is a ridiculous lie. He did this to try to say that's how he feels about christianity

To me it depends which aspect you are trying to prove is accurate or correct. The basis and belief structure in christianity is to be a good person and live an honest pure life. The bible has scenarios if you will that are shown to challenge these attributes in people. So I believe this person is saying he does not believe the stories, which with honesty I don't either in the sense of them being true. I am christian and rather religious. But I am also aware that the bible much like Greek mythology is filled with stories that show people a proper way to live.

this is almost word for word what i said, and he argued that any book and even some cartoons could teach morals.

Yes they can indeed teach morals as well. As can parents and friends and experiences. But He seems to forget that the Bible is a book first and foremost. Thus he proved your point for you. A church is simply a place where people gather to share the understanding they all have of this one book. a belief in good is simply a faith in a higher power and a bible is simply another means to connect to that higher power. A person is entitled to their personal beliefs and I strongly agree with that notion, but this gentleman seems to just put blinders on when he is arguing the absence of something with the exact objects being used to support it.

The Bible is inspired of God. 2Timothy 3;16. God by means of his holy spirit guided the bible writers to write only what he wanted them to write. These bible writers "spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit," said apostle Peter : 2Peter 1:21. The Bible is harmonious from beginning to end. The first book of the bible tells us how mankind's problem begun. The Bible is scientifically accurate. It even contains information that was far ahead of its time. The Bible is also historically accurate and reliable.

Christianity is based on faith. If there were proof of God, or the divinity of Jesus, then faith wouldn't be necessary, and man wouldn't have to choose between believing and not believing. What's clear is that believing in something positive, be it human kindness, God, Jesus, Moses, or whatever--seems to lead (in most cases anyway) in something good in the hearts of those who believe. And that's right here on this planet.

Lol!,a magic sandwich! The Holy Bible has been in existance for many many years. Then they did not think up weird stuff to write or even speak. So,why would anyone, with sense, think it was made up like a magic sandwich.
