There's always a place we go too when we want to be alone, when we feel embarrassed, when we want to think or when we want to cry and hide.
personally when i feel like being alone when i feel those emotions i go to places which i feel like i'm up high for example a rooftop or even at the edge of a cliff or above a tree.
how about you?
where is your hiding place?

When I have to stay at home, I spend this time with my dog too. It's good because they alwasy seems to know when you are sad, so, they come to stay with you.

The best place for me to be alone and to have a privacy is indeed my room, only few have been to my room most of the time when I'm not busy I just stay at my room sketching, writing, imagining, thinking, listen to music, lying down, relaxing just to be away from problems.

My alone place is in the bathroom. I get in the bathtub and just sit and think, no one will bother me as they think I'm bathing or using the facilities, and it helps me get a way for a bit if nothing else. When I was younger I used to do this a lot or sit on the bathroom sink and look at myself in the mirror, or just kind of rest there, I think I've even fallen asleep there before!

Whenever I feel worried, I go to temple or a park. Or go for walk.

In my old city, when I had to think, I always used to go to walk on the beach and looking to the sea. On the winter, the beach was pretty much empty, so, it's a good place to hide myself and think about my life.

My favorite place to hide is the library. There is a nice library in our community, very quiet and very peaceful. I pick a spot at the far conner of the reading room, sit at a place facing the window, and read magazines. Ha ha ! That's very relaxing and enjoyable.

I used to have one of those spots when I was a kid living in the mountains in TN. It was a rock outcropping the looked down on the back road up the mountain with a beautiful view of the valley. Thing is you wouldn't know that someone was there if you went by on the road... the outcropping was below the road edge by 2 feet or so. Mom never did figure out where I was going. If I can't have my ashes scattered in Scotland I want to be blown down the mountain from that spot.
