You're right, Friend Valleyofberaca. And now being introduced to the market is a natural sweetener extracted from the shell. You will hear about it within the 6 months or so. Full production by a Japanese-Korean partnership has started in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. For diabetics, health and weight conscious, this sweetener seems to be ideal.

coconut is the tree of life. All parts of the coconut can be used. You can use the leaves in making a broom, the coconut milk for cooking and for making your hair soft hair it can be used as a drink right? The water of the coconut can be drink and it can heal UTI Urinary Track Infection, and many many more.

Yes, indeed, there are more uses of the coconut than have been enumerated in my thread. I hope that people, especially we Filipinos, will begin to utilize this plant fully. By doing so, we will actually be utilizing resources, creating wealth as well as saving and conserving. These are contrary impulses but true when utilizing the coconut.
