Hello friend, I'm confused to decide between AVG and Avira. Which one is better, AVG or Avira? From what I heard that Avira take bigger memory. Is it right? Please kindly to share with me, what's antivirus do you use? Thank you and best wishes,

I have used AVG in the past and feel it is far better than Avira. As of now I am using Kaspersky. You can check the following link to know about the performances of the ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARES. http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/index.html

AVG is far better than Avira software. Both the software provides many of the protection features. However, I've included few more details that AVG software provides and Avira does not have. IM Shield P2P Shield Network Shield Web Shield, Intelligent Scanner and Gaming mode. So I suggest you to go ahead with AVG software.

I have used AVG antivirus software before and I liked it very much because it was efficient and it didn't slow down my computer at all. I would suggest that you stick to AVG because I am not sure the other free ones out there would be this efficient. The name sounds weird to me. I think AVG should be sufficient for you so you should stick to it.

AVG is what I've been using for years, and is what my friend recomended I use. They have a fully-featured Free Eddition that gives you full virous protection so you don't have to pay for protection. It auto-updates daily, but you have the option to update it as often as you would like. The software also scans your computer on a daily basis, and does a full scan weekly. While most virous programs I've used slow down your computer when they do this, AVG has not, which is why I continue to use it.

I prefer Avast. I feel it is the best free antivirus software currently. It performs tasks silently in the background and requires very little memory. So I would suggest you go for it.
