I did this crazy thing in my life during one summer, I have to find a job to be able not to live the city for one reason, I have to be with one of my friend and that's the only way I can be with that friend. I find the job in a well known fast food store in our town and for the first time I was hired. I was hired as a service crew and it was not easy, I lost lots of weight. When the school started I still have to work to finish my contract and that's makes my job even harder, I have to stick in one schedule, I have to work at night since I have to study during daytime, my schedule start at 10pm and ends at 6am, I have to hurry because I have a class that starts at 10am, most of the time during class I am dizzy and worst thing happened I got low grades and marks. I have to quit the job to save my subjects. I just quit and I have to past the my final exams.

Working and studying at the same time is really hard. I have tried it once and decided to give up one. I choose to study for it is hard to fail especially when I am really not used to failing with regards to my studies. It payed well choosing to give up my work for I have become a professional after I have studied. Finding a job may be difficult, but failing and studying again and again is even much harder for me. :)

most of us had to do this at one time or another. sadly we live in a world where money is a necessity to advance in life. education should be free. in fact everything should be free!

Education can be free? that's good thing but hearing everything should be free, that's maybe impossible.

Believe me, it is very difficult to studying while working, many people think it is just a breeze in the air for student to go to school while working full time, i been through that experience during my college year, it is as tough as you can ever imagine in your widlest dream, not every one is able to cope with such a grueling task to be able to pass the grade in college and at the same time be able to pay for his food, tuition fee and living expenses by working while studying. Yes, it is a tough world for student in general.

That's right. One thing that happens in working while studying is you will surely get a low grade, that is unavoidable. You will never have a chance to understand everything that your teacher says. the right thing to do is quit that job and focus in your studies.

Yes this is really a tuff job to studying while working. But there are mostly person who like this things. But if I talked about me then it really hard for me. Because when I started any works then I can concentrate only on one work at the time. So it is very difficult for me for studying while working.

Its just hard that you still wanted to work because you wanted to help your studies but your body says he cant anymore do this at the same time, your in a situation that you needed to choose one thing and that one thing must be the right decision. I think I did the right thing.

This reminded me when I was still studying in college. I also did part time job in a popular fastfood chain here in our country. I did these for three years to support my study. I have to quit on my fourth year to concentrate on my thesis. I admit it is really hard to be a crew and a student at the same time. Sometimes I fall asleep during lectures and my professor would call my name to wake me up. It was embarrassing. If you really can't keep them both, you have to prioritize. I believe you made the right choice when you choose you studies. Good luck!

Good luck to both of us. hehe. It is really hard for a students to work at the same time because you have less time for yourself to rest, you cant concentrate in your studies because you don' have lots of sleep.

That happened to me too and I can say that it is a very hard situation. Working and studying at the same time will drain. I guess you just have to prioritize school first or just do some sidelines. Don't worry after your studies you can have any job you want. Lol..haha. Goodluck

It's really pretty hard hitting two birds with one stone. One should really adjust in order to compensate the need to accomplish the other situation. Just like what you did, it's not an easy task especially if you're not used to it. But at least you've experience that, now you know that it's hard to be a working student. From that experience you'll learn to value time.

hi mathgadiano, you know what I do understand how you felt when you started working and at the same time studying. I've been doing that for so long, since I started college.I worked at night and go to school in the morning. I was a vocalist of a band then as the years go by I've decided to apply in a call center that makes me more stressed even the pay was enough. I just have 1 1/2 sleep everyday which is not good but I have to do it because I'm the bread winner of the family and I need to provide everything that they need.I do have 5 siblings and I am the eldest. It is very hard but I know that these sacrifices will help me to be a better person.
