How many of you know what SIDS stands for, do you know what it is, do you know the precautions that you can take to help prevent it? Have you experienced it? What is some information you can share, what can you do to spread the word, how can you raise awareness? Most importantly, how can you help in the battle to find a cure? My little sister was a victim of SIDS, she died when she was 13 days old. At the time, I had never even heard of SIDS. That was 10 years ago, and still today, I meet many people who have never heard of it, and worse of all, there still today is really not a whole lot of answers. I pray that no one ever has to deal with this tragedy! I pray that someday, someone, will find a cure. But, for now, I hope that everyone who has an infant, or knows someone who has an infant, has the knowledge of what it is, how it happens, and what they can do to help prevent it from happening!
