Sanitary napkins, unsanitary?

Do you believe that most of our sanitary napkins are cheap because they are made of recycled papers? This is the main reason why many of our women today are suffering from ovarian cancer and any other forms of illnesses inside us like UTI, lumps and nodules. The long use of these "cotton" napkins build dangerous linings that trigger our genital health problems.

I have read about this somewhere and there must be some truth to it. I'm using love moon anion and so far it has somehow relieved me from any menstrual discomfort. It really is effective because of the activated ions in the pad. Yes it's more expensive but having UTI is more expensive for me. I just can't afford to get sick.

Yes, toniganzon... that's correct. I was also introduced to lovemoon just recently. I am now using it as well as my daughter. I was shocked to have learned about unsanitary our supposed to be sanitary napkins. Thanks to lovemoon...

According to the new research sanitary napkins made from those recycled papers caused some health problem for us (women). Same with toilet paper which also use for wiping (u know it) So come companies produce their new ionized sanitary napkins. It's kind of expensive but really give some relief with monthly discomfort and I like the minty feeling . have a good day jaiho®

It may be possible. It has been a long time since I used sanitary napkins. When I had my periods, the last couple of decades ;I was using tampons and we were told to only keep them n a few hours unless for overnight. If you kept them in too long there was the danger of infection.

I have never heard of this if before. Well, thanks to you now I know that our sanitary napkins are not really sanitary at all. That's sad and scary as well. We feel safe using it not until they publicly inform the world that they are using recycled stuff to make it. I also haven't heard of this lovemoon napkin. I hope we can buy it here and not too expensive as well. Will try to search it now .

I agree with you some napkins are unsanitary but there are also napkins that are good for our health but they are so expensive. I once had uti because of constant use of panty shields. Whereas sanitary napkins are only used once a month, panty shields are used daily. Now i'm not using panty shields anymore.

I never realize that using napkins will cause much problems. For me,as long as i change it frequently to avoid mess and choose a napkin that makes you comfortable and confident while at work or do some activities, then thats it.I think this is a turning point for me. There was one time, someone went to the house and offer a special napkin, its with ion? i bought but i dont believe that much,i dont know if it is true.

Hello Kristeena! is that true? are there any true stories in this regard that can prove the sanitary napkins can really harm our genitals? on how many hours does a sanitary stays on us? And i heard about panty liners are dangerous too. But what is the explanation behind, because that is because they are from cheap recycled papers? We have manufacturing companies for napkins, for sure they are doing their job on safe way and they are getting materials that are sanitized first. So is this includes tampoons too? Thanks for making this discussion. REally interesting and alarming.

hello, Thank you for this, I am not aware of it but I am always changing my napkin every 4 hours because I know it will be dirty. I really dont have any idea that this came from recycle and we can suffer from some serious diseases. Ohh?? So, what will be the best thing to do or to use?

I only heard about this just now. I agree that most women have UTIs. Maybe sanitary pad has an effect to this. Just like baby girls wearing diapers are more prone to UTIs than boys due to their diaper usage. I had heard about sanitary with ions but it is very costly. I hope they produce cheaper sanitary pads that will help us ease pains during our monthly period and avoid us in getting illness. Having a period is a burden alone and add to that is headaches and others
