Do you think the Dual Sim Cellphone will do good for us? I think it is useful specially here in the Philippines where different simcards have different offers. I would like to maintain my old cellphone number but I would also like to avail the unlimited text and call of another network. I guess it would be better if I could have one someday.
Nokia Cellphones recently launched several models which are Dual Sim but their models are "Easy Swap" as they called it. It has only one slot for a sim then you just pulled it out if you need to replace it and then insert your another sim. Though Nokia are known for good quality phones, I wish they could do the same with other Dual Sim cellphones where there are 2 slots for simcards.

I like dual sim mobile and last week I purchase Nokia dual Sim mobile. Really Nokia Company is the best company. Benefits of dual sim is we can put one sim for permanent using and the second can be changed for talking according to new plan of sim like my permanent sim is Tata Docomo but other sim is changer per month like not this uninor in 150 rs sim talk time 700rs.

I live in India.
Here people use dual simcard phones only because of the rates as they are really cheap here.
For others, who use phones for official or commercial use, i don't think dual simphone is a bad option.
As you have mentioned, NOKIA has good quality cell phones..i tottaly agree.
If you have any option for dual sim phones..go ahead and buy one..Nokia works the best in every category.
ALL THE BEST :D

I know many people are now using this dual sim mobile phone.
But I haven't tried to have one.
Anyway,I don't text and call that much so one mobile phone is enough for me.
Dual sim is good for people who have some business that needs a lot of calling and sending messages to other network provider.
have a good day

HI
I was using dual sim phone. And i found it little confusing. Means managing both card on one mobile. But I am talking about too early. Now I am sure new dual sim mobiles are easy to handle both the networks. Currently I am not having that but surely it is very useful when people having multiple cards.

That is a good idea, using dual sim phones for loading business. I'll suggest it to my sister for her convenience and of course for safety. She once been robbed with a cp which she forgot on the table while selling load with other network. At least, she'll just keep an eye on one cellphone.

yeah. I think that nokia phones is only the friendly handy phones. I used cell phone which is dual. The smart sim I put it as a sim 1 and the globe sim i put it as a sim 2. it's really nice to have a dual sim phone because I got no. of contacts which is different in network.

I do agree that dual sim phones are great. By using such, this will give you advantage of having two networks in one phone. Here in the Philippines, networks compete with each other and obviously provide certain promotions and benefits for the end use. Unfortunately, the benefits are mostly good for the same network and might not be applicable for the other, so if you call or text to a friend who uses a different network, such promotion may not work, thus the dual sim phone will allow you to choose which is appropriate. I am not familiar with the dual sim of Nokia, but based on what you say, I don't think such phone is considered dual sim, if you have to take out your sim and insert another, its merely giving us the easy way of changing a sim. A dual sim phone should have two sims inserted and both sim should be active when the phone is on to qualify as a dual sim.

I used dual sim Nokia mobile phone China made. It is very useful for me because I used 2 sims with different network provider. I am also from Philippines and I used Smart and Globe. Both of them roam, even I am here in Middle still I receive SMS from my family and friends. Atleast you don't need to carry 2 mobiles everytime you go outside but my dual sim phones always left in my room because I used the local sim which most of the time I used to call to my colleagues and friends here.

Hello! before I have a single sim phone, but when the two sim in one phone is in the market I bought that kind of phone. For me two-in-one sim is more convenient to use particularly if you have more than one sim in your own. The only disadvantage to this kind of phone is that, if it will come to a low battery mode your two sims will not be use anymore due to one phone. Sometimes the purpose of having a two-sims is for emergency purposes, you can use your other phone if your other phone is in low battery condition. So which do you prepare?

HI there!
I don't need two sim cards so it is not for me.(^^) I don't want to be so greedy to have more sim cards just to make sure I get the company offers plus I am not using much my phones. But it is convenient for others who need two sim cards like business men as they need one for personal and one for their business purpose. Then I think they should have dual sim cellphones which both simcards can be used at the same time.(^^)

i think that having a dual sim phone is a nice idea than having to bring 2 phones. i think it is more convenient too since these cellphone companies have different offers and a lot of our friends dont text us much if we do not have the same network.

I have to agree that having a dual sim card phone is really convenient. Before when it was not yet introduced on the market, I had a hard time juggling different cards or I had to own multiple phones in order for me to accomodate my friends in other networks, now I can do this with dual sim phones. Some products are manufactured by Cherry Mobile which I think is a Filipino company.

I think having a dual sim phone is very beneficial to those who have or want more than one sim because that means only carrying one phone instead of different ones and like you said different networks offer different deals so you can benefit with it all with the dual sim phone. It's also good if you have a business because they seem to have different sims.

It really depends on one's needs. Like in your case you want to avail of the different promos offered by different networks on prepaid.
In my case however i don't need the dual sim but i really need different phones because i'm using postpaid and not prepaid. And i use different plans for each. One of them is a consumable plan from one network. The other is an unlimited plan for a data service that i'm using for my android phone and the other one is a blackberry data plan service. So if you can see they have various uses which a dual sim cannot give me.
But i believe that for those who use the phone in the same manner as you, dual sims are very useful.

i use dual sim cp, because i have 2 sim card, one number for family and the other one for friends.for me it helps a lot.and i think that's troublesome if you still need to pull the other sim just to use the other one. yeah i agree much better if they done the same as the other brand did.

Hi r3jcorp :)
I do have two phones right now. The other one is a single-sim phone and the other is a dual-sim phone. I have been using dual-sim phones for years and I think it is more convenient and practical. Imagine, I can carry three different sim cards (different networks) with just two phones. Its tough carrying so many phones for all the sim cards you want to use. Having so many phones is not advisable for you are just spending too much. Also, its bulky to be carrying so many phones while shopping LOL. But the question is, why do you use more than one sim card? Its basically because you want to avail of other networks' promos which the others don't have. Its just being practical. :)
