It is really the biggest blow for team India. I think more than anything his miss is the biggest reason for India not faring very well at England. But as your rightly point out this gives arise to opportunities to other bowlers to rise to the occasion. Ishaant seems to be rising to the occasion and becoming a leader of the pack. It is time to phase out at least five or six players. Yuvi has been exposed yet again. For all his swagger on Indian pitches he was jumping around like a scalded cat when Broad was bouncing at him, the same Stuart Broad who was carted for six sixes by the same Yuvi in 2007, albeit in T-20. T-20 and particularly IPL is the main culprit and If Indian cricket is to maintain its progress it has give less importance to IPL and T-20 or else you will have mercenary players who will give more importance to their IPL club teams because there is more money there and the bowlers dare not bounce at them. Zahir seems to be finished.Its time for the great Tendulkar to bow out gracefully. But instead of panicking let the transition happen gradually so the the Pujaras and the Rohit Sharmas can come in and take charge.Yuvi seems to have aged overnight and his reflexes against the short pitched stuff is woefully inadequate.Gambhir needs to deliver consistently, he seems rattled though.Dhoni should now step up the order and display the courage and guts he is known for. Dravid and Laxman have really been the better performers and due respect should be given to them but even they know their days are numbered and India should be ready to play the younger players instead.Players like Valthatty, Rayudu, Umesh Yadav, RP singh,Uthappa, Pandey, Sarabh Tiawary....etc.

Zaheer will missout the England seires and it is just a worst thing that would had happen to INDIAN team. Already bowlers doing nothing and if he can't play rest of the match it will be hard for the team INDIA to get sucess.
