The last week I reveived a message in my facebook telling me that the end of FB, have been unlined for november 5tb.
The reason is because they allegated that the owners of FB are selling our personal information to different goberments like the president of Siria, and others.
This message was sent it by the Hacker associations.
I don't know what they have planned, but I think is difficult to destroy FB.
But because I don't the risks I think I will erase all my pictures.
What do you say? Faebook't is gonna be in November 5th?

I am just think about it, what kind of information in Facebook that President of Syria would want? XD Do they really eager to get your photos? XD
Anyway, I truly believe that it is difficult to hacked Facebook, or make Facebook down.
Ok, maybe they are facing some account privacy issues, but Facebook is still popular, up to now :).
They wouldn't be go down in near time, but I don't know about later.
It happened to Friendster, it happened to Myspace, so it is not impossible if it happen to Facebook too :)/

I don't know if there is any truth to that but I have been saying over and over that if you don't want certain knowledge to be public for all viewers then don't post it online. I really don't understand why anyone would expect privacy from anything that they post online.
I have seen a lot of posts where people have participated in a discussion they thought to be private only for it to become a public post as well as people's personal information they put in their bios to be public knowledge as well. When this happens they think they have been betrayed but I say they never had any assurances of privacy to begin with.
Always be careful what information you put on the internet because it will definitely be public knowledge.

You are right, I don't why we feel attracted to make our pictures public, sometimes ago I used to post all the pictures about my vacation trips but now I am more conscious about the online life, and I don't do it anymore, but my pictures will be deleted soon, (by me).
And I agree with you I don't know why we ask for privacy and upload our pictures and life in the social sites.

I am hoping and praying that this site fb will not destroy easily because it helps. It is not only for social network, not for chatting and friends chat only but it helps those who have business and finding those long lost friends and cousins. This site is a big help when using in a right way and purpose of all those subscribers. Do not abuse one site by those abusers coz it destroy those also good users subscribers.

I don't think Facebook will just ceased by just like that. If Syria has some problem with FB, then that is the only country, but FB is operating to how many countries and it will be impossible to stop the social network site. I don't believe that they sell out information, if that was true, they should have been closed down long time back.
So far the reputation of Facebook stays the same and I can see that their staff is doing their best even to maintain the site. Just put restriction on who is going to view your pictures. You don't need to delete all your pictures.

This is probaly a very false rumor! Just ignore it! This has happen before!Last one I remeber was the end of the year Facebook was not going to be free site anymore. That was a big lie. I am sure this is another rumor that is a rumor. You can't trust rumors! Rumors usually are just that, rumors!

The real world and also the virtual one are full of fake news and people expressing their opinions. From my point of view I don't think Facebook will be closed because it rules the online world... it's like trying to shut down a major part of what means internet.

Facebook will not be closing. If they were, everyone would get that message. I, nor anyone I know has recieved that message. It's a rumor that has been circling for some time now.
There is a page on Facebook called "The Hoax-Slayer." If you "like" that page it will tell you if all those things are true or not. Even all those forwards people post like "do not add so-and-so because if you do it will send a virus to everyone in your friends list."

Nah, I don't think it's true. Because one, Facebook has been earning A LOT, and continues to do so, and it earns too much for Mark Zuckerberg to let this venture go. Another thing is that I don't think Zuckerberg will have the guts to do this, as many people could threaten him just because of this kind of activity (although I also think that Zuckerberg already got a lot of enemies trailing him).

If facebook gets hacked, this would be the worst case scenario but like all other big companies out there, I'm sure Facebook has already set-up a fishnet for hackers all over its network. If facebook gets an attack whichis most likely to be a denial of service attack, they would be up in a matter of minutes.

I don't think so this thing will happen, But what I know is the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg's sister Randi Zuckerberg is generating headlines of her own – after six years working faithfully in her younger brother's shadow as Facebook's director of market development, is jumping ship to set up her very own social media company to rival his brother's. Family feud?
