handwashing: I hate doing the laundry.

I do hand-washing on my favorite clothes and the remaining I let the washing machine take care of it and the electric bill is just fine. I don't use it regularly. Try also to check out www.lifo.com. I always let the washing machine to wash the clothes. I will not wash them by hand because it is a tiring and boring housework. Of course my washing machine had been out of work before. But I made a call to the washing machine company and next day they went to my home to fix the washing machine. So it didn't give me much more inconvenience. I love China

I have a washing machine, but whenever there is power outage I have no choice but just to do it by hand. I hate washing clothes with my hands too because I get wounds all the time. But sometimes to make it less stressful I just soak them first in soap and water, then it will be much easier to wash them.

Nope I don't handwash. I throw everything in the washing machine I seriously hate things that have to do with washing, like handwashing the clothes and/or dishwashing. I try to skip these two the most. I am pretty much Ok with the rest of the housework

I do the laundry sometimes if I have time. I only hand wash my clothes because I don't have a washing machine. Whenever I am very busy I go to the laundry shop and have my clothes washed, pick it up after 36 hours and do the ironing myself (which I am not very good at).

I've never liked doing the laundry. Back in my high school days, I lived in my own apartment and I don't have a washing machine so I have to hand wash my clothes everyday. I soak the white ones in soap overnight and the colored ones for an hour and I handwash. After I got married, I got an all around helper for everything. I can't do that anymore. lol

This must be the week of people having problems with their washing machines. You're the third person I've heard of having troubles with theirs. I don't like handwashing my clothes but there are a few items that I do wash by hand. If our washing machine broke down then I would go to a laundrymat or a friend's house to wash the clothes.

My dear friend, I never do the laundry because my wife always do it each week. It is better to repair your washing machine if you don't have enough extra money to ask other people to do the laudry for you. And it is really a hard work if do the handwashing or you can ask your boy friend to help you do the laundry. Enjoy your life.

Oh I am very sorry to hear your washing machine is not working. I understand this feeling as several years ago mine broke down prior to finishing the wash and I had to finish them by hand that day and oh my I was in so much pain the next day. My arms were so sore as I must have used some muscles that I had not used prior and it made me really sore for days. I only had to do it that one time and hopefully never again. I do hope you can resolve your washing machine issues as it is a very difficult task for you.

I like handwashing. Though, i don't like to handwash those denim pants and bed sheets. I do the hand washing of husband's and my underwears. I don't include them in the weekly laundry done by our laundrywoman , though. I feel that it's a private thing.

Hi Tess! At home my husband and I use a washing machine to do the laundry but we still have to rinse the clothes manually. So it's still backbreaking hard work. The good thing about it though, is that my dear husband always take cares of the rinsing and wringing & only makes me hang the clothes outside. Yeah my man is every woman's fantasy! I'm so lucky! hehehe. I wish we owned though one of those fancy washing machine that lets you press a couple of buttons and voila after a few minutes your clothes are all ready to be neatly folded. But it's kinda hard to find one here and I bet it to be really expensive.

There was once a time that I was assigned to do the laundry in our home. Those were the tough times because the washing machine also broke down on me. I had to hand wash all those laundry. It was really tiresome and cause body pain. Good thing now we got a helper to do the laundry. But still, I still do hand washing of my laundry especially when I am living alone already. I usually hand wash my sensitive clothes and undergarments. It is quite necessary to do so because those clothes might be damaged by frequent subjection to washing machine.

Hello there. I was about to do laundry today but I stop to post here in mylot. hehehe I can't handwash! I don't like handwashing too. I can't wash our clothes if we don't have washing machine. i don't know what to do if our machine will breakdown. It is hard handwashing and given the fact too that I only do it once a week because I have a business to attend. I don't have a household help nowadays to save money. Business is not good during this months till september.
