so far since starting with freelancers few months ago,i have gotten about 200 usd just rewriting short 300 to 500 word articles, usually i will bid for the job and when accepted, will be given a list of article titles from various other article sites, then i ust use word to help with the spelling check and grammar etc, then i will submit to copyscape, and after it passes i will submit to employer.get about 1.50 to 3.00 usd per 300 to 400 word rewrite depending on the title.sometimes longer articles get 5 usd, none of the articles are original but recycled, reworded, or grammar rearranged. when bidding for assigments, bid the lowest possible, can save money coz freelancer's comission is based on the amount of the bid which will be deducted when you get paid by the employer..in my case i always bid 30 usd and 3 to 5 days to complete for 20 - 30 articles. can always get more later if employer is happy with the submissions.coz by that time will be corresponding personally thru email.
i selected only to be notified by freelancer whenever there are article rewriting jobs available, unless you have other special tecnical skills,i suggest to just choose 2 to 3 categories that will be emailed to you.

It is always touch and go with that website, make sure you log on everyday, if not a couple times a day and see the postings and actively bit. I have had my ups and downs with freelancer.com, I have been there for a couple of years.
