I am 2 years older than my husband and we are very compatible since we grew up in the same time frame with our likes and dislikes... I think the more space you place between each partner, the harder it is to have a good relationship... More years difference means more differences in the both of you...

They sure can... My hubby is 5 years and 1 month younger then me..We have been married for 12 years. Together for 15 years. We get along GREAT!!

when u define compatibility it can mean a lot of things..but speaking on general terms..i don't think a five years or so difference is gonna matter a lot..after all its a very personal decision and if they think that they can be happy together they should go ahead with their plans..similar attitude and thinking is very important..
