I often find myself writing in first person an awful lot. Sometimes I'll have ideas for a story and will tell myself it needs to be written in third person.. but I often get muddled and end up writing in first person as well as third, so it becomes confusing and I have to change it all around. I think from now on though, I have learned that writing in first person is so much easier for me, especially with the stories I write.

yeah, I started that, I read alot of stuff and first person is easy. I also like making a character and making it come to life.

i think that's good to write for yourself, writing for yourself is relaxing and it helps and individual that's thinking the same way.

When I write most of my stories, I write in third person. It allows the reader to see actions and thoughts of other people, and boy howdy do I love dramatic irony. :D While I'm thinking about it, I've also found that sometimes for impact 2nd person is very effective, and when played right it can be a powerful way to yank the reader by the collar and drag them into the story whether they like it or not. I rarely use first person, honestly. It just doesn't feel right to me; I don't know why.

I usually write in the first or third person and sometimes a combination of both when the material permits it. I love the first person becuase it is easier to have more interaction from reader due to its relativity. I always feel stiff when I have to use thrived person but I can do once I get the hang of it.

It depends largely on what topic or genre I am writing at the time. Fiction just will not work well in 1st person. But if I'm writing about my own life experience than I would use 1st person.

:) sounds like you are a non-fiction writer and love the realistic stuff more than fiction.
