With the advent of technology, communication even from the farthest has become possible and accessible, that is why, I can say love affair can definitely sustain. Of course, couples' attitude towards it has a lot of bearing. They are the main drivers to make that relationship lasts and make it stronger through times despite the distance.

Yes long distance relationship can last as long as your partner does not know that you are cheating on them. Let us be realistic for how long can you put up with those lonely nights, temptation can be so high especially if you have that brother or sister next door who is always giving you that look. communication through technology is just not the same as cuddling with someone under the blanket

I don't have faith in long-distance relationships. For a long-distance relationship to last, it requires a lot of faith in each other.

It takes alot of patience and time to have a long distance relationship. However, not many people can handle that because whenever they walk around or watch movies, they'd wish their partners were just with them, just like other couples. So, of course, they'll feel they miss them so much. But then, sure, we have phone, the internet and other ways to communicate with them. A good way is when 2 persons in a long distance relationship try to find a slot so they can sit and talk online and be able to share their stories with or they can even just write emails to each other, etc. It'd be nice to send a card to each other for special occasions and not e-cards. These simple things keep a relationship going even though it's long distance. they might even find a way to be able to move in together someday...if they really love each other...where there's a will, there's a way

I do think that long distance relationships can last. However, this really does depend on a lot of factors. It may certainly vary from couple to couple.

With the modern world the way it is, it is making things much easier to stay together as you can stay in touch with ease. You can use the internet to stay in touch with people both using voice messages, text messages and video messages. No matter where you are in the world, you should always be able to find an internet connection, meaning that nowhere is far away enough to be able to say that it's not easy for you to stay in touch. I have had a long distance relationship but it really didn't feel like that because we were both talking to each other almost every day.

I absolutely think that long distance relationship last but and this is a big but, it really depends on the people involved. It's hard work. When my ex boyfriend went back to his country it was devastating. He told me we could do the long distance thing but I did not want to fool my self. I told him that it's better for us to break up now than for us to go our separate ways and pretend. I guess I did not want to work things out but some long distance relationships do last.

If long distance love can survive, it might be the most greatest love in the world. Sometimes, if the two lover in the different places and cannot meet each other, only telephone and interenet is the only way to feel each other, I think it will not sustain long. When they feel lonely, they will try to find someone else to have date.
