It's my dog's birthday today. My mom was gonna cook spaghetti but sadly, she ran out of tomato sauce. So how about you, do you celebrate your dog's birthday? If yes, how do you do it?

But you still have dogs? You can still celebrate it even if you guys are adults now. :)

I love pet birthday parties! Any reason to throw a fun shindig, plus everyone gets to bring their dogs. From funky themes, to pup-cake, to doggy bags - everyone's always raving about the parties afterwards!
We're having a "Teen Woof" 80's party for our hound, Rugby, soon. We can't wait!

That's cute! I've never tried a doggy party. The only social life my dogs get is play dates with my friend's dog sometimes. With their number, they never play alone though.

We give it something special or what it likes a lot.For instance we give our dog a lot of meat with a juicy bone. One year we gave it a pastry which it gleefully lapped up.There is no celebration in the sense of a party but each year we would like to give it food which it likes immensely. Our dog seems to like sea foods a lot but we haven't given it as yet.

I think it's best not to feed your dog sea foods, just saying though. It's nice what you do for your dog. And it's even nicer that you notice the kind of food that he likes.

We always celebrate our pet's birthdays. The cat usually gets a can of wet food, and the dogs get a new toy or a new bone. We don't make a special dinner or anything like that, but we do acknowledge that our pets have birthdays too.

At least you give them a special treat on their special day. :)

If I knew the exact date of their birth I would definitely celebrate. But, the 2 I have now are adopted and don't have any papers or records. I do celebrate my horse's birthday though. It's on his registration papers and each year I'll go out and feed him some special treats usually either cake, apples, or a doughnuts lol.

Wow, you have a horse! I wanted one when I was a kid. The adopted dogs that we have, we estimate their birthdays. So even if it's not the exact birth date, they still have something special around that day.

That's really cool. I wish we could throw something like that for our dogs, but usually they have to settle for a nice dinner with the family :)

I dont really celebrate the dogs birthday. I do buy him some gourmet cookies that have sprinkles on them and he liked those this year for his birthday. I also bought him some new toys and i dont really think we did much else this year for his birthday. Kinda hard to celebrate a dogs birthday and i dont have manyfriends that have othe dogs and if i do they raentthe best dogs out there or are a lot bigger then my 15 pound dog and i just dont want them around.

At least you do something special for your doggy. I've never had dog parties for my dog either. But we have a lot of dogs so it always seem like a doggy party here.

Well, I give him treats and meat, which he loves, and take him to do things he really likes, like going to the dog park to play with other dogs etc. Nothing very fancy, but he likes it.

Well, as long as he's happy, right? :) We don't really have a dog park here in my place. What my dog likes doing is ride in my mom's car whenever she goes out.
