hehe, me.. always! sometimes i talk alone and i talk to the monitor when i find some unusual stuffs at work, etc.. its just like a normal thing.. i find myself talking alone.. i hope you don't find me creepy. hehe
well i talk to myself alone sometimes in the mirror... whenever i see myself, i would talk to myself and tell "myself" that i can do things, i am destined to do good, and great things and i won't let a little trial get through me and destroy me and put me out of focus.
so when do you usually find yourself talking alone, or talking to yourself in the mirror? hehehe

Haha, I talk to myself all the time too! I don't exactly know why I do it, but I reckon saying what I think out loud to myself just seems a bit more reinforcing. I just find it embarrassing though when I talk to myself and someone happens to pass by; they must be thinking I am nuts!

It is just the time when I want to find something really belongs to me, expecially I cann't get understanding from others. Many a times, I am not the part of myself, being a worker in company, being a mother with my baby, being a housewife in front of my husband. So, i think it is a good way to talk to myself, there i can listen what i want to do, what i dislike.

Hi chiyosan!
Yes, I also talk to myself at times while walking alone, while in front of the computer, while at the bathroom, while reading something, whatever I'm doing. I think it's not odd or weird that a person talks to himself unless you are always talking to yourself and you don't mind anybody around you, you'd be crazy if that's the case.

to seriously answer your question, no i don't talk to myself.
i talk aloud but i won't count that as talking to myself.
sometimes i verbalize what i type so that i can have a better flow of my thoughts and often times, i'm mistaken to be talking to myself.
lol!

You are not alone my dear friend. I too talk to myself sometimes, especially when I am in front of the monitor. My colleagues would often ask what was it I were saying and I would respond, nothing just talking to myself again. My offline friends here can attest to that. I only laugh at it when ever I talk to myself, I don't think it's normal but what else can I do if that is really what I am used to doing. I don't talk in front of the mirror though, I'm finding that one weird.

I can speak with him mentally.
Tak try to realize the mistakes and see how the other side would have done in a reaction.
This is normal for me.
so valued over whether or not it wrong to deal with problems by talking and pour out his anger.
nice day!

I do this quite a bit. i like to call it thinking out loud. sometimes things can seem more sensible and clearer when you hear the words out loud. Talking to yourself may sem funny or strange to some people. for others it can bring balance.

I very often talk to myself, I am reasoning about problems and other not solved matters out loud at home or when I out walking. I also like to speak to animals my cat or the horse I'm riding. Animals are good listners being there with their presence of loyalty. It's a good way to solve problems and to encourage yourself to speak to yourself.

I talk to myself all the time. I live alone and have for years. I do not have a lot of people in my life. it is a quirk that you develop when you are alone a lot. But I sometimes do it without realizing it on the street. Sometimes I am thinking about things that have occurred with others and talking to myself about it. And someone on the street has turned to me and said "excuse me" thinking that I was talking to them. I had been talking to myself loud enough so that someone else overheard m voice and thinking that I was talking to them. It is sometimes embarrassing but I have learned to laugh about it and explain to the other person that I was just talking to me.
Apparently I have done this all my life. Last year, I visited a girlhood friend in Florida whom I had not seen in about 25 or 30 years. She asked me if I still talk to myself and I assured her "yes, I do".
Some things never change.

To be honest, I do have a lot of conversations with myself. Whenever I do reflect on things or into thinking something very deep, I usually end up talking to myself. Also, whenever I get very nervous, stressed out and emotional, I do talk to myself. I do believe that it is quite normal to talk to yourself at times if you are having something emotional going on or is reflecting about something. Well, you yourself knows your own identity more than others so yourself should be a very good person to converse with.

I often do this mentally and verbally, and I don't find it weird. I do this to express the words/feelings that I can't say to other people. Like if I'm getting angry to one person, I talk to myself quietly and it helps to calm me down. And if ever I did something wrong, I'd be the first to reprimand ME.

Actually it's not just "sometimes" but very often especially whenever I'm alone or nobody to talk with. I've known and met a lot of people who are also like this. This way I was able to assess what have done so that I can see my areas of improvement to a particular situation. I also did the same whenever I'm in front of the computer, usually doing some programming stuff or trying to solve something. There are people who needs to hear themselves to be able to understand the situation. Talking to yourself in front of the mirros is a good thing because you can develop your confidence that way. Maybe it's creepy for others or insane but that's how things work for us.

I sometimes talks to myself may be I have disturbing in my mind. It's like I am in a meeting scenario and then talk out loud as if I am in a meeting so making my point known. But it's funny because talking to oneself makes one seem very courageous. But then if am not alone and I don't want the other person to know that am speaking to myself,I always sing a song to cover that is after realizing may be I have been heard.
