I have never had allergies before, so I am not sure if this what I am dealing with. There seems to be a lot of drainage and I am coughing a lot in the evening just before I go to bed. What does this mean? I live in the midwest and someone said that the mold count is high. Is this true and does this cause the drainage and coughing in the evening?

I have been told to sleep in an elevated position. It seems to help. I think it finally cleared up.

Doctors used to tell that cough is of two types. One is because of cold and the other one is because of allergy. Mostly if you have cold you will have severe cough at night times, but if you have cough during day time means it is mainly due to allergy.

don't get panic already,if your cough won't be gone for four to five days,or even a week then that's the time you should go to your doctor.first drink a lot of water, fluids and don't forget your vitamin C. it will boost up your immune system again.since the post was 2 days ago,you can also tell me if the cough have phlegm or not.i may suggest medicines to you.before that take many fluids as you can.more than what you are drinking everyday.it's also better to take warm water.

It can be an allergy but also a high mold count (so allergy again).
If you don't have that coughing in the evening if you stay at other places you know enough.
