I hate say that I love rainy days / myLot

When I was a kid and during my college years I really hate when it rains, almost all of my activities on that particular day will be cancelled because of the weather. Wet streets, cancelled gimmicks, cold weather, stuck in our house are the things which makes me irritated during rainy season like this. But now, I'm just sitting comfortably in my room sipping my hot chocolate drink with hubby and my laptop enjoying the sound of raindrops and the cold weather. Seems that I am starting to appreciate rainy days like this one. How about you what are you doing during rainy days like this? Do you enjoy it? or hate it?

I know this feeling! There is something we can really appreciate about the rain when we just slow down and enjoy ourselves! For me, the sound of rain and what it does to the land are favorite aspects of mine. I do hate it when the rain keeps me from hiking or horseback riding but I can normally find other things to do and enjoy the rain. I guess it helps that I am not living in a house overloaded with people! :) There is also something about watching the rain from the window that is very appealing. I also like the sky during rain. I find the grey to a nice breather from the blue. Weird, since I don't suffer from depression. :)

I totally agree with you Awinds. Rains makes me slow down for a while and enjoy every moment of it. It makes me feel refresh and relax at the same time, especially the cold weather it gives makes you want to take a nap. :)

I like rainy days, because of the cool weather and i only feel like sleeping all day or just watching TV,eating and doing stuff. I'm really not an outgoing person so i don't feel bad when it rains. My fiance and I do enjoy this kind of weather, we will just sit on the couch talking about things, eating together and fooling around.

i think it's depend on the mood i like the rain sometimes but if it's everyday well it's hard to walk around since it's wet.

Yes! I know lots of people who hates rain because the streets are all wet and they can't stand to walk on it. :)

I love the rain! I love the cool weather and the wind as long as I'm not caught in it :P I still remember the time when Ondoy hits Philippines. I was stranded for 6 hours in Puregold E. Rodriquez T_T But in all, I love the rain. I also drink hot choco or coffee while reading something or playing with my laptop during rainy days or watch movies. DVD Marathon! I love watching horror and suspense films during the rainy season :D

Oh! I remember Ondoy again, that was the time when me and my husband came back from Singapore. I thought we will be stranded at the airport for a long time, good thing my family knows a road where there's no flood and be able to reach the airport to pick us up. And when we got home, no electricity and water! :( A bad day for us then .
