Pity to hear it. I think the best way is, she need to bring her father to see specialist doctor, who able to let her father undergo many types of tests including blood and urine test, to determine the kind of problem which he is having at this moment. Nowadays, there are many kinds of illness, so it is hard to help without undergo proper diagnosis. When the specialist doctor have got the report of those tests, i am sure he able to help overcome your friend's father illness soon.

Sometimes we can have a stomach ache from nerves or anxiety. That does not show on many tests and examinations. Without knowing more, it is hard to say. It is better to deal with medical professionals than to ask us here on MyLot who have never seen him or who are probably not doctors.

It could be several things. More information would have to be given to make a correct diagnosis. Does he hurt more when he eats and depending on what he eats? What area exactly does he hurt? Has he injured himself at any time in the last month and a half? Is he having any problems with urination or other problem. Is the pain across the stomach or on one side and which side.
The best thing for him to do is to have the hospital or a doctor do an ultrasound of the area. That and an x-ray. This should show what the problem is.
I hope he gets it figured out and soon.

There has got to be something wrong. Did they do tests like a mri, cat scan etc. If they didn't they need to.

There are many things that can cause this. Stress is a great factor, diet and lack of exercise also. Best to look on the Internet and see if anything you find there can fit his condition. Keep checking, sometimes when a problem is just starting it can cause pain but show no other factors.
