good day fellow mylotters,
when i was still a kid, my parents always remind me not to use calculator that often, as i should do a manual addition. but now, since calculator is readily available, i cannot help to use it. even in small amount, i am still using calculator whenever i do computing. as a result, i am not relying my computation to the calculator.

Friend I always use calculator because my maths is so weak. If I not use calculator then I will say 2+2 = 22 hahahahha.... I am joking.. and laughing also not so weak but in big calculation it is difficult without using calculator.

Honestly, I do the usual computation using a calculator. But sometimes I compute in manual just to check if the total of the thing the I buy or sell is right. For me manual computation is for short computation but when the price of the item is a lot then the calculator is much of use. It really depends on the person if he/she is comfortable in manual addition or using a calculator.

I use both mental calculation and also the calculator. People of olden days when they did not have calculators used their brain and calculated the difficult problems. But today most of the children do not use their brains and rush to add and multiply with the help of calculators. My mother an old lady in seventies calculates in a jiffy mentally even before you finish with a calculator. Happy mylotting.

Yeah me too, but it wasn't my parents said it to me but my teacher. We were not allowed to use calculator and those who use it are consider cheating and I don't like being labelled like that. So mostly I use my brain or do it manually in a paper. I do use calculator but it's for scientific use only but somehow any calculation I still doing manual which I more prefer than using calculator.

I use a calculator especially when I am figuring out the budget. My math skills are on the weak side and I feel that using a calculator it eliminates mistakes. I also use a calculator when I go shopping so I can see how much I am spending on food and making sure that I buy the barest necessities.

I do everything manually because we were used to do so in our school days and I still could not give up the habit. If I ever use a calculator, I always check it manually in spite of being well aware that a machine would work far better than me.

I don't use use calculator as much. Even whether we can calculate in computer or not? I don't know if my computer has a calculator or not?
For simple mathematics functions(addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) I never use a calculator as far as number are not very big or very complex. I use sometime a scientific calculator but only for complex functions.

I rely mostly on a calculator when working in my business to avoid simple mistakes that always bring loses. I don't trust my head that much when working with something to do with money. Mostly, I use my phone to calculate but when the quantity is large, then my computer comes to my rescue.

i don't own a calulator, and i have never even tried to find one on my computer, so i do it manually, and if its complicated i just use a bit of paper. but i never really liked calculators, anyway, as i always felt like they had taken power away from me, rather than given me power. so i do manual calculations.
