Hi Friends,
After we lost Test Match series against England badly, many are talking about Dhoni not being a good captain at all, I do not agree to that and still feel that it is just a bad phase for Indian cricket and they will bounce back soon. Why do we do same thing again and again, we lost one series... that is ok. ... it was not only match that India played. We will win more matches in future.
Dhoni is still good and I would say much better than any current player who would want to claim captaincy. If we talk about Yuvraj Singh ... I would not suggest him to be next Indian Captain.
What do you say?

MS dhoni is cool caption.Yuvraj is a Very good player in batting, bowling and fielding.I think no other player has this qualities in india.Excelling in all three field.Yuvraj must not think about captioncy because if he is eligible for that. Then definitely it will come for him.Now he must think about India Winning only. Not getting captioncy.

Well losing 4-0 in test is something which we cannot say bad phase but it is worst performance ever to happen. Did India ever beat England anywhere in the World with that margin. It was not expected from ICC World No1 Test team and ODI World Champions such a pathetic performance. Many captains lost their captaincy for that kind of performances. Those who lost their captaincy jobs for an white wash series are Ajit Wadekar and M.A.K.Patudi. Sachin Tendulkar resigned the job after a white wash series against Australia in Australia in 1999 under his leadership. Dhoni is blaming that batting has let the team down, etc but all these are excuses in my view. Indian team was in the hangover of celebrating the World Cup win and did not plan well for the England series. All the senior players who are fit should have played the West Indies series as practice for England series but most of the players opted for rest that includes great Sachin himself. Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer were hurried up for the test series to show their worst fitness levels and worst performances of their lives. Why can Indian team try new players, how many more years these seniors will last. If Dhoni is not greedy about his captaincy, he should take team failure as his responsibility because he too was part of this failure performance of team India and his personal form too was not that great in all the test matches. He should resign from captaincy in test matches and continue captaining in ODI's and T20 formats. And that too if Dhoni feels that captaining the side is dropping his personal batting form. But this will not happen because Dhoni is treated as god by selectors, so, until Dhoni says I am having enough of this captaincy, selectors will never remove him from captaincy post.
Well my dear friend Ajaysinghbaghel who said that Yuvaraj could claim the captaincy?. When yuvi was in the team Gmabhir was the Vice captain and when Gambhir left the ODI series, now it is Raina who is vice captain. So, whatever Yuvaraj will never become captain of India unless some miracle happens. Yuvaraj too is sitting in the home nursing his injury. Only player who is not into injured list is Mr.M.S.Dhoni. The future captaincy might be Raina if Gambhir do not return but only if Dhoni voluntarily gives the captaincy to anyone.

Yuvraj Singh is definitely a good striker of the ball, a good bowling option, an outstanding fielder. He has helped India win many matches. His mere presence on field brings life in the field. Even if he fails in batting, I think he saves 20-24 runs on field, which makes an impact.
But when it comes to captaincy, I think his body language is not proper. He is too aggressive. He was leading Pune Warriors and we all know what happened in the matches where Pune lost. It will take time for him to be a good captain.
When it comes to Dhoni, through his actions and body language he has earned the credit and name 'CAPTAIN COOL' and deservedly. Even good captains went through bad phase, even most successful Ricky Ponting had bad phases. So let it go down have a proper strategy and India will be back on the track.

probably yuvraj doesnt seems like a captain,he doesnt have the qualities of a captain, you can see his background as a captain in IPL,he became captain of kings 11 punjab and pune warriors but in all IPL tournament he was flop as a captain also in ODI's he became captain for few matches but doesnt proved himself as a captain instead of him Dhoni is always better as a captain, but he is a good valuable player
we have lost one series because of injured or unfit players not because of Dhoni but our team will definately come back and regain its reputation,as replacement of Dhoni i like gambhir over yuvi.

Ajay, Yuvraj Singh is my all time favourite play he is good left handed batsman, if is a good fielder, if is a good allroundar but he is not a good captain. It is not a Dhoni fault that India lost but it is bed luck so we can not give the claim to Dhoni. He is a cool captain, but I think next captain may be Virat Kohli or Suresh Raina.

yuv raj singh is a good striker, break through and gr8 fielder...his captaincy will definitely be a dynamic one...but by his body language he appears to be immature and more over his batting has been unreliable at times, i feel a captain should be as reliable as Rahul dravid who has been standing llike a wall in difficult times...even dhoni for that matter has proved to be gr8 aptain and till MS dhoni is in team there is no requirement for Yuvraj to be captain
