Is Internet a curse or Blessing?

I work on line and I really enjoy it. As for me Internet is real blessing. I can communicate with my family( I live in different country than my family), Internet is amazing source of knowledge. I can meet new people and discus with them things witch really interest me. I can develop my hobbies. The list of profits is endless. Of course there are bad people there and there can use Internet to commit the crime but in my opinion using internet got more benefits than negativities.

I enjoy the internet. I can study any subject I want for practically nothing. And the pictures really add to our understanding.

The internet can be both. But there are a lot of good things from the internet, probably much more than the bad things. A good example is mylot which would not have been possible without the internet. We are now engaged in a conversation from all over the world from the comfort of our homes and that is all because of the internet. So I would conclude that there are a more positive points from the internet than negative ones.

I think that, for the majority of people, the internet is a blessing. It affords people the opportunity to communicate quickly and - with chat services or Skype - it allows them to do so inexpensively and in real time. It also enables people to access information; although I do admit that - with sites like Wikipedia - such information can often be incorrect. So, I guess, that - if it's used properly - the internet is a blessing. Sadly, like anything with people who abuse it, the internet can become a curse. Wikileaks is probably a prime modern-day example of this; however, hackers can access details and identity theft is rife. There is also the incorrect information that I mentioned; especially when individuals purposely post abusive messages about people on Facebook, other social networking sites, or more specific nastiness-driven sites. That cruelty is often difficult to remove; which, I think, is one of the curses encompassing the internet.

Hi Rajiv, Welcome to Mylot. Now since you are in this beautiful site, you will come to know how extremely useful internet is at the moment and how blessed we all are who are used to net. Though it has its own negative points, I believe in taking the positive and good things which are helpful to improve our life and our future. We can not blame the net for family problems or the other issues as it is totally depended on you to take the positive stride and can not let the adverse effects rule on you. best regards...

Whether a certain object, idea or phenomenon is a blessing of curse relies directly on the wielder. The internet can be a curse if people use it for selfish reasons. It can also be a blessing if people use it for selfless reasons. In fact I believe that it goes for everything....unless your trying to use the ring of power from Lord of the Rings...

If we use it rightly its a blessing and if misused it a curse. Its same with all inventions. Electricity,fire,mobile phones,water etc etc. If these natural or man made inventions are used to enhance our life then its a great invention. If misued its become a curse and dangerous

I think the internet is a blessing because it helps us in a lot things. It informs us of what's happening all around us, even as remotely as news from the other side of the world. It also gives us information about a lot things. You can also learn a lot from the internet. You can also express yourself and state what you're thinking at the moment.

I am always believe Internet Is a Blessing, Just Imagine If you have no Jobs Like Me, then what you are doing ? Internet give us lots of opportunity for earning, Think Positive then you surely achieve your goal

I think the internet can both be a blessing and a curse. It makes it easier to stalk people and find info on them, and to bully people. I keep seeing it in the news about this happening to kids. The internet also makes it easier to communicate with family with IM's and to find jobs.

In my opinion internet is a blessing. Today we cant think about without internet. As you can see how internet had changed the world. Internet has made globe as in your palm. on the other hand internet has negative aspect also,which i don't need to mention. It is not the internet, it is the human being who made it into wrong full purpose. Those who do internet for negative purpose it is curse for them. So it is based on human being attitude. So try to use this service as a blessing one

Whether the internet is a curse or blessings I will go for blessings. Although there are a lots of drawbacks or dawn sides but I believe the internet has bring us more good things. In terms communication, media sharing and information etc.

For me, it would be a blessing. I think it's good for when we needed to find out something or just about anything, the internet is always there for information. We no longer depend on writing letters alone when there are emails which is faster for communication. And then there are forums where we can share our opinions on and just so much more.
