You think. How a photo can be said to be high art?

I think it's good composition. Two different photographers can shoot the same subject at the same time but the good photograph depends on how they are presenting the subject on the frame. Also, the photo must tell a story - something that the audience can ponder on when he leaves. The photographer must be clear of what he is trying to tell the audience by his photos.

Which photos are you aware of that cost hundreds of millions of dollars? Cos I'd be seriously considering photography as a career rather than a hobby if that kind of money was out there! I thought it was only the Great Masters works of Art that would fetch that kind of Money...

a photograph is considered to be an art with what subject or theme is captured at a precise time in order to project the emotion of the subject itself. consideration is given to the exposure, amount of light and the subject itself. portraits or still photos are best examples of art photography, but sometimes candid shots of people or any living creature could be categorized as such.

When viewed, it could make people who look directly amazed. or an historic photograph.
