I think team working is more important than a brilliantly creative person. As a commerce student I have studied that a man has limitation to do the activities. In a team worker if one gets wrong other member can rectify it. There will be both formal and informal communication. This helps to interact with people and attain both organization goal and self goal. What do you think .Do you have more points to add.

Working with a Team you can achieve more than working alone. You get more ideas from your team mates, you get help in case your not able to do something. Many brains at work make a brilliant Team to which a brilliant brain alone cannot compete with. Also interaction with team mates adds a little fun to your job, rather than doing it all alone.

I don't think team work is more important in all cases. In the work that do not need much creativity and couldn't finished by a single person, team work is more important. But there're cases that creativity is needed, like fashion design, art, and science which lead to innovation of our world. In our daily life, you can always see stuff produced by creativity everywhere, like DC, cell phone, tablet PC.It's hard to image how our life could be if there's no creativity. The fact that people begun to worry about Apple losing its creativity when CEO of the company Steve Jobs resigned also shows how important creativity is for the survival of a company.
And I think being creative is harder than being a good tream player. Creativity is kind of inborn thing like IQ, although it could be improved by daily practice.

hi hafiz yes indeed there are places for team workers and for brilliant creative workers too. and sometimes brilliant creative people can and do work in a team. so both are important really.I worked as a team in doing nurses aide work and it was wonderful . our can get so much more done with help and the patients loved it too.also if confronted with a very ill very large person two people can slid him or her up in bed so much easier on everyone concerned. team work is used more now in a lot of hospitals.

hi friend i am not agree with your views if a brilliant person are not present in a team then what are you do without them , nothing . suppose a football team , there is only one good player then the team do better but if we quit that player then that team do nothing without them.

if all people their brains would be the same/work the same you might be right. But I don't believe a team worker is more important than a brilliant creative person.
Also in teams you seldom see all people give the same input. Mostly only 1 or 2 do so and the rest is following "the leader".
A brilliant creative person gets his ideas from what he sees, hears all around him (or her) and is creating something out of that.
To me all people are important no matter if they are a team worker, simple, brilliant, creative.. they all need each other. And what each of one is doing has it's influence on other people as well.

As to my experience working alone cannot avoid committing errors out of thoughtless and low-efficient, because nobody is flawless nor omnipotent so you just need someone stand by you, working together can be even more productive with brilliantly creative team mates o leaders.

Working in a team is mostly better than working alone as the brilliant creative person. Working in a team of brilliant and creative people is even better than working as a single creative person. But probably working in a team with kess creative people may not be as such a good idea but it is still good to have team work.
