Do you Eat Breakfast?

I know they say many people don't eat breakfast. Which is bad because it plays a big toll on your life and on your health. I think the problem is that most of the time people don't have time or they are just sleeping and by the time they wake up it's time for them to move and so grabbing breakfasting or making it seems too much. I think that's most people's reasons. Mines I eat breakfast when I can or when I want depends on my mood and what time I wake up,

I do not feel well if I do not eat something in the morning. It may be breakfast food, it may be leftovers from the night before, it may be a piece of fruit and a granola bar in the car. I eat something first thing every day, just as I have coffee first thing every day.

Hey gerty, That's sounds like a good idea haha.. I love fruit in the morning, and a granola sounds good. Sometimes I like to have some left overs as well. I try to eat something big sometimes most of the time but that requires a lot of cooking sometimes haha. I also try to avoid in putting to much carbs tha I'll just make me sleeping and gain weight

Hi payout! I was one of those that never ate breakfast as I was too busy too take the time out to eat. I would always make the children their breakfast and while they ate I use to run around getting all needed to get us going after they finished. I have made a full life changing eating habit now for three years and can say that I must have breakfast daily. My body is so use to it now that if I skip I feel so warn out and unable to function. I do not eat heavy but I must have more then my coffee each day. Cereal and or toast but it has to be something to get me from the faint spells that I can get if I skip.

Even a breakfast bar would be great for you. You probably are rushing on your way to work and being in the banking business has to be pretty busy. You will find that eating a first meal daily will make a world of a difference. This way too you will not over eat during lunch, overeating during lunch makes you tired and sleepy.

There was a period a few years ago where I never ate breakfast. But somewhere down the line that I can't remember when, I broke out of the habit and started eating breakfast again.

I believe it is a matter of culture. I have generally only a coffee-minute for breakfast, but I can spend one hour for my lunch and maybe it seems too much for you. I think it depends of countries and habits : all of us need the same amount of calories per day, and we distribute them differently, depending of our culture.

You are right about that I lost 102 pounds and one of my coworkers wanted me to set her up a weight lost solution and some advice. I remember her telling me she lost 10 pounds and etc she eventually left during her time doing that. But, she told me in her country the Dominican republic the biggest meal was during dinner and the smallest was lunch when I told her to do opposite. I told her hey it all depends on your bodies reaction everyone is different

I always make it a point to eat breakfast. I try to get up early so that I have enough time to take a breakfast. However, I do skip breakfast at times. This is when I failed to wake up early. This happens usually on weekends when I sleep until it is almost lunch already. I will then take the lunch already instead of having breakfast. But really, eating breakfast can really jump start your day.

Hey agent, Yeah I agree with you i believe it plays a big roll in our day because eating a breakfast a good breakfast haha.. Helps you boost on with your day and keeps you running till lunch time. Which is good.. It all depends what time you eat your breakfast. I try to stay away from milk in the morning because, it upsets my stomach

Are you lactose intolerant. Check if you are as being one makes your stomach ache when drinking milk. Milk is a great breakfast coupled with cereals. But usually, I eat heavily during breakfasts that I eat a full meal with rice and viand. It really keeps me going until lunch time!

Hi, payout. Since my sleep schedule is so varied, I rarely eat breakfast food at the normal breakfast time. I don't eat when I first get up. I find that I will eat breakfast foods at the end of my day.

I think that breakfast food should be its own food group. I LOVE breakfast! I love it so much that I'd eat it any time of day! Breakfast with cereal and yogurt is my current favorite, plus a lot of fruit! Muesli is one of my favorites and I have yet to learn to make it myself. I mean, if you love it that much, why not learn to make it, right? Our church Connect Group is having Breakfast Night this week and I'm so excited for that. I'm assigned to bring bacon but my sister wants to bring garlic rice as well, which is a staple in breakfast food in some Filipino homes. Just now I had breakfast for lunch. I had rice, hotdogs and sunny side eggs. Not so typical, but back in the Philippines, this is what I'd have if I wanted a lot of energy for a long day! :)

I know how important it is for our health to eat breakfast regularly,so I never skip my breakfast;I know that it is considered that breakfast should be the most important meal of the day,but I can't eat much in the morning as it is recommended, lunch remains my most important meal.Anyway, skipping breakfast is really bad for everyone,so people who do that should think that their health will be damaged if they keep on doing it.

I do believe it's very important and sometimes i try to make it a habit of eating in the morning sometimes. Keep up with it then I go back to skipping it which isn't good I feel a lot better when I do eat breakfast. So yeah, I'll try to keep that in track

Hey row Well that's good that you eat your breakfast, but me it's off and on and i have notice that without something to eat just a little bite of toast and jelly would make my day go a lot smoother and believe me it helps. So yeah keep up the great job you are a good example of what is to eat breakfast haha

Yeah, I use to eat breakfast everyday. But I understand people who doesn't have time to it. Modern life can make that some people can't take breakfast. They haven't time because they need to go fast to the work. In there they drink a coffee or maybe nothing. I think, for the children it is worse if they doesn't drink breakfast. They need it.

Hi Payout, My breakfast is pretty simple during weekday mornings. I usually take a cup of coffee coupled with a few cookies. If I didn't have the time, I usually take my food as a brunch session. Weekend mornings are better because that's when I get to cook myself some oats for breakfast.

Of course I do eat breakfast! It's the most important meal to start the day with. If you don't eat breakfast that's not only unhealthy but will also get you in trouble as you need it to be able to fully perform at school or work. I wouldn't know how I'd survive a day without breakfast, I would just fall down walking to school (or home) I suppose!

Literally, breakfast means morning meal after waking up. We have to remember that we fast for at least 8 hours during sleep. Since our stomach is already empty when we wakes up, then we have to break the fast. Breaking the fast means you have to eat at least small amount of food, as much as possible, light meal so as not to upset our stomach. Beside, taking breakfast will help you energize yourself the whole morning until the next meal comes.

Hey web zap, I learn something née I never really thought about it at way because it sounds very true because if you think about it defines a little of when people fast we fast because when we are sleep for 8 hours if we even hit 8 hours we are empty and making sure we have something in our stomach does effect are morning. I thought having a big meal is better ... .?

I know I need to start eating breakfast. I never do and I am really overweight. I bet that if I were to eat a sandwich or breakfast bar, or maybe an instant breakfast drink first thing in the morning then I would lose some of this weight and also have more energy to get me through the day. I know the worst thing to do is just skip all meals until 1 big one - dinner. That is what my husband does and I have adopted this habit. As a result I have gained more weight. I know I need to break this habit. Thanks for reminding me about this. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Hi. payout. Yes and no. If I am not hungry, I usually will just drink a cold breakfast shake. My favorite breakfast shake to drink in the morning is vanilla or strawberry. I am not that much of a breakfast eater, but when I do eat, I most likely will eat, grits, eggs and turkey sausage.

Hello Payout, I never skip breakfast. I now its bad to skip it even if you eat little that will do but don't skip it as it will have bad effect on the health. There is logic behind it that when we sleep at night we don't take any food but still our body continues to work whole night and that is the maximum time when our body remains without food so its necessary that we take food when we wake up in the morning.

I agree, as we sleep we burn 80 calories an hour, so you can just think of the numbers that are in play as we sleep. I will try my best make it a daily thing to eat breakfast I agree it's very important, without breakfast it can mean many bad things to our health and I have notice when I do eat breakfast it gives me a lot of strength
